What are some obvious signs to spotting a cheater.

I just got a teammate that just stood still for the whole game and then we fought a three stack and died I thought it would’ve kicked him by the time we got an in engagement but he was still in and we lost 48 rp.

Just started playing on PC(roller) and was most interested in the main differences gameplay wise and to see if I ran into any cheaters. I created a low level account on Xbox so I could compare. Here are some things I found during the first session.

For PC I’m in silver lobbies to start(normally finish around low diamond on console). If you have decent aim on console it feels a thousand times better on PC due to more frames(240 on PC).

Quickly found out that silver lobbies on PC are not equal to silver lobbies on console. I was able to drop 10+ kills multiple time and feel like I could beat up the lobby. PC quickly found that the players in there were much more capable. If I peeked too long I was fried. I did get my first 4k badge which I didn’t even get when using my low level account on console.

Only ran into two games with suspected cheaters who were around level 20 accounts with the 3x havoc/r9 running over lobbies. I literally feel like I run into those every game on console once I hit diamond.

The maps look so much more impressive on PC and the game does feel overall less clunky which is nice.

Only ran into octane movement gods in mixtape so I’ll probably be seeing more of those as I climb the ranks.

Interested to see how the overall gameplay goes once I climb the ranks.

TLDR - aim feels extra crispy on pc. You can get fried on PC in silver lobbies. Didn’t run into as many suspected cheaters. Game feels great and less clunky.

Protecting an active cheaters is sum else why am I not allowed 2 post a video of me getting fucked by a cheater and have his name jn their?

Ive been thinking about this, but i would love to see a version of R5 for Console, like with Duos and trios how you swap between them by hovering over the mode, you should be able to hover over Firing range and have 2 other options

1v1 mode

just like R5 1v1s where you are both wraith, both have the same guns, and both have to 1v1, and they should do it in rounds just like R5 does

Aim Trainer

In R5 you can select certain scenarios such as tracking someone on an octane pad, or flicking, or practicing tracking with certain guns, I would love to see something like this added to console

This would allow people to have more resources for practicing their aim on console, and could accelerate learning and muscle memory, range right now is very basic, and i dont feel like it has the tools to help people improve their aim

Please add this respawn, Ive been begging for this for a long long time, console players have no way to practice tracking in certain situations unless you play a bunch of wildcard, even then wildcard is not an aim trainer, its a mode for fun, and range is a very basic aim trainer, PC players have so many resources, but console only has range, and some of us can have aimlabs, but thats about

As the question states, what's everyone's favorite weapon, for me back in the day, i always went for the OG charge rifle and the OG Re45 with hammer points, If I couldn't find the hammer points it was just as good and reliable with a light Mag.

I’m not the only one that hates this map am I?

So im in plat and it's playing ranked seems like a torture sometimes, teammates dying off spawn instantnly and then of course blaming you because you didn't pushed with them, no coms before that, I had three games in a row when I was running around the map trying to revive them. It's just sad because someone knows he is playing with randoms, lands hot spot, doesnt communicate and then of course tries to blame you of his shortcomings, It's just lack of insecuirty and tiny brain that's the only way I can explain that, try to take responsibility for your push. thought people in higher ranks are smarter than that.Sometimes I get people who are playing more respnsibly or are much better than me and carry, but usually its a meat grinder.

It is, by far, the worst map in the game. It has absolutely nothing good going for it.

There's absolutely no cover anywhere. The entire map is just a giant field. Then on the odd chance that you do find a building or piece of cover, it is suspended 1000ft in the air and only has 1 zipline to get up to it, usually guarded by a Watson or Caustic.

There's absolutely no loot anywhere. It's just huge empty rooms with 2 guns if you're lucky. The only loot you find is located in 2 supply bins surrounded by absolutely nothing but water.

The only people who enjoy this map are the players who get lucky enough to have the circle follow them around since they always seem to have high ground.

Storm Point is genuinely an ABYSMAL map and shouldn't exist. I hate the fact that I just can't play ranked for 4hrs 30mins because the devs decide to keep the map in the game, so the idiot who designed it doesn't feel bad.

Storm point should he permanently removed from the game.

I downloaded apex not long after it first came out when I first had a ps4… got a ps5 stopped playing it. But had transferred all my games to my ps5. Got back into it a few seasons ago and I was so ass. Incredibly ass. Like I sucked,.. horribly. Felt slower and aim was not clicking/working my movement felt sticky. Tried going 4-3 linear watching clips etc etc. turns out I was playing on the ps4 version on my ps5 console. 😭😭😭. Anyways thought someone could use a chuckle. I’m marginally better now but if anyone has any pointers for aim. I’m really accurate on bf6 and cod but apex I can’t seem to correct gun recoil. I watch other players and it seems like they have basically none.

Just curious what the majority of players are using and what you personally prefer.

4K 65” TV
100 Hz
I’m pretty comfortable with these settings, considering on trying 5-4 sometimes , but I’d like to see what other console players are running and maybe try something different.
Feel free to share your sens, response curve, FOV, FPS/Hz, display setup, etc. I’m especially interested in what settings you guys feel work best for you.
