Sea of Storms collects Aquaman #26-31, Aquaman Annual #2 both by Jeff Parker and Swamp Thing #32 by Charles Soule and is the first book/big arc after Geoff Johns run and I think it’s one of the most underrated Aquaman books I’ve read so far.

It started out with some cool huge fights with the Karaqan, then there was a fun slice of life issue with Artie in his high school reunion, then Arthur has to fight Hercules and some ancient mythical giantborn, and the book ends with a really cool confrontation between Swamp Thing and Aquaman.

I like Parker’s style and he made sure to feature other characters like Mera and Tula with an assassination side plot, and there was a cool character named the Chimera that was being built up in the background.

The really weird part is that this book and the issues in it were all rated really poorly on the website I use to make reading orders and reviews.

Those of you who have also read this book/big arc, what’d you think? I really enjoyed this one a lot.

I know they have a buncha differences but do they share anything with eachother aside from a name and being aquafam? Like do they ever mention Tula52 dying in crisis like how Tula did? Or have they ever mention Tula52 having a history with the Titans? (I know there was a Tula in the Titans 2025 annual, but that mostly used her precrisis design) asking as someone who is not opposed to having multiple characters of the same name.

Also sorry if this post makes zero sense, its a question i've had for weeks maybe months but i'm really not equipped to start reading another bazillion comics to figure out the answer myself

I read a a few issues online but It was so good I couldn’t bring myself to not read it physically. Any other Aquaman recs?

Where do you see Adams taking Blue-Emperor Aquaman by the end?

How do you like his approach? Is it close to the Storm powerscaling over at Marvel or are you finding the tale in between the crazy powers also genuinely compelling?

Não sei se deveria me incomodar com isso, mas me incomoda o fato de que versões alternativas da Liga da Justiça dificilmente incluem o Aquaman.

(I don't know if I should be bothered by it, but it bothers me how alternative versions of the Justice League rarely have Aquaman.)
