Showcased Project Finally built a battery pack for my project
Two 18650 li-ion batteries + 2s BMS + LS-LISC-V3 8.4V USB charger + JST SM output. The battery pack will be mounted inside of a 3D-printed model with USB port accessible through a hole.
2s battery pack sounds easy, but:
- I had no experience
- I have no spot welder and I don't feel soldering batteries is what I should do
- those battery holders that are being sold everywhere make no sense - two thin wires and not really designed for replacing wires or adding a third wire; I tried to buy a different battery holder, but they sent me not what was on the photos anyway;

Nice :)
And whats the project
I love me some 18650s but sometimes the flat 3.7v batterys are unbeatable in terms of formfactor plus they usually have a bms on them. And we love redundancy.

Lego Duplo sized train with Arduino Nano, 6V motor, color sensor, laser distance sensor, IR remote control, a bunch of LEDs, and, likely in the next version, an accelerometer.

Thats sick! What are you using for your laser distance sensor

Noice ive tinkered with thatone before too
Yoo! I remeber seeing some cheap 3/5volt water atomizers on amazon. And you just use a tiny damp sponge. So no water storage hazards.
And it would look like steam coming out.Also having it play some train sounds would be kewl.

Sounds nice. The model doesn't look like a steam locomotive, but who said electric locomotive can't make steam. LOL. It also has a "police train" mode - siren sound and RGB LEDs blinking with red/blue colors.

Who says you cant put a flamethrower on it..But yeah post some more pictures when you get this train rollin

Does anyone else feel their “inventions” always look like explosive detonating devices??
