Started drawing (not totally from 0) mid February, I used a sketchbook for the most part but I started making decent progress when I switched to Procreate around 2 months ago. Though now I don't really know what would make my art step further.

Same character, 8 months difference.

Not as impressive as most of you but I thought I'd submit mine anyway.

I am older than this now so the drawing is kinda old, but I thought its fun to compare :) i used reference photo for both

I wish I had more and older examples but I just grasped from what I had posted on my Pinterest, my Google photo is on my older phone and it's dead

Second slide is still in progress, (I have to fix the teeth and some highlights, and ofc the hat) every time I am struggling and being jealous of other advanced artists, I take a moment to remind myself how much I’ve improved in only a year

times are estimates mostly cause my memory sucks so its going off my est grade level
I've been pretty focused on improving recently (doing study study studies)
still got a long way ahead of me... who knows how good I'll get if I keep this up :P

they went from little round dough boys to more sharp and striking figure. :DD

Right now feel like I'm lacking in multiple areas and I'm not able to place my finger on what exactly I should target in my practice now. Going off this last drawing, I could use some direction because I think I've been stagnating for a while.

As for the drawings themselves: Same character one year apart and taken around the same amount of time to draw (I took more time on the old one somehow). I've not actually drawn any murder drones between these two so I'm quite surprised I pulled it off.

Literally stopped drawing digitally for about 2 of those years. I should prob just quit at this point lol

Still have improvements to make ofc, but I'm happy with my progress none the less as i just like to draw in my spare time :)
