Im not sure fully how to work the title sorry lol

Using a simple artstyle, is this a good way to convey age? (Younger kid and young adult) Or if you saw them out of context would you not make these assumptions?

I need to establish some sort of proportion things for faces and bodies to implement in my art so the age of my characters are clear
