Since April, everything has pretty much been going downhill. I lost my job of 3 years, then got hired somewhere else and ended up getting fired. I started another new job today, and because of ONE mistake, I was let go.
That’s 3 jobs. And honestly, the only reason I took that third job was because I couldn’t find anything else. The job market is absolutely crazy right now. I’ve been trying so hard to keep everything together, but I’m exhausted.
Now I owe my landlord $500 from August, plus September rent is coming up, and I have a 1yrold depending on me. I feel completely screwed and like I’ve run out of options.
At this point, I’m seriously considering going to a family shelter because I don’t know what else to do.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? What options do I have? Any advice, resources, or programs that could help with rent or emergency housing would mean so much right now.

Hi everybody I hope I am in the right place for this. I need some help getting some school clothes for my 11-year-old family autistic son here in Denver, Colorado. He has very sensitive skin and will only wear dry clothing and I just need some shorts some shirts and some shoes for him as my car broke down and I had to use all of our savings to get it fixed. His school provides actual supplies, just not clothing. If I’m in the wrong place, please point me in the right direction, as school has stated already and I’m running out of the same 3-4 shirts to send home in.
