That's a lot of yarn.

I was just thinking of how many crochet projects I could start and abandon halfway through to start another 😂

I’ll finish those blankets one day…

Starting new projects is always more fun than finishing old ones!

Me too. So much yarn. So many unfinished projects.

I tell you, though, I do like to crochet winter beanies, because it usually takes me about 1 day to do one, so I can finish it before I get bored of the whole project.

I would finally be able to indulge the urge to get some fancy yarn and then a lot of cheaper yarns. Maybe some fancy crochet hooks too.

Yup, I estimate 4-5 sweaters' worth of really good yarn.  That would keep me busy for over 6 months.

Damn. It takes me 3-4 months to knit a sweater. But I’m also tall. 😂

I know a few friends who would see this and reply "challenge accepted". One who has calculated that she shouldn't by any more yarn because she literally has a lifetime supply now. But she still hears the siren's call of pretty colors.

Real. I picked up crocheting and knitting not too far apart from each other and I went on a yarn buying frenzy in the beginning. It was all acrylic yarn too because I was a beginner and wanted yarn I could FAFO with and not feel bad. 🤦‍♀️

I had to ban myself from buying more yarn once I had accrued enough, and I'm still busting my stash. Now though, I'm at the stage where I'll only buy yarn if I have a specific project in mind for it and in the meantime, I'll keep busting the acrylic stash and I might end up donating/giving some away eventually.

That'd pay for a helluva lot of DMC thread as well. I'd be set for stitching for the rest of my life.

I could afford to import one braid of wool roving from a favourite Etsy dyer :-/ (Australia is great if you like spinning merino, which I don’t)

Or like 4 balls of 'Vikunja' wool (idk the spelling)

I kinda like to buy merino, so... not that much yarn haha

So merino in my area is about 30$/ball (using sock yarn because that's what I like to knit) so around 33 balls of yarn?

I am depressed now.

My thoughts exactly.
