Makes me wonder if that was intentional: to make homophobia look as bad as possible so that people would reject it.

It’s my favorite conspiracy theory. It made conservatives not want to align with the people picketing soldiers’ funerals.

I remember back in 2004 or 2005 they had his oldest daughter on Fox News and Sean Hannity was like “do you think it’s okay to protest soldier’s funerals?” and her response was “these soldiers are the pawns of an evil satanic pro-homo f*g-loving empire and they will burn in hell forever and we are here to proclaim God’s truth to American infidels and sodomite supporters” and I stg Sean had a BSOD moment.
