What do you think about paying members of US Congress a salary equivalent to the take-home pay of the median voter in the region they represent?

I have been saying for YEARS that ANYONE who is an ELECTED official should pull the same salary of their LOWEST earning constituent.- including healthcare. Then we would see who REALLY wants to work FOR THE PEOPLE!
