Need Tips / Advice / Insights Is doing this worth it?

I tried for the first time a couple days ago and I got to the severe tingling and buzzing stage, and my hands literally felt numb and non existent, but I did actually project. I remember feeling so peaceful before I got a phone call and woke up.

But reading about people's experiences, it seems like everyone just gets really scared. Do any of you have a nice experience? I'm starting to wonder if it's worth it to just be confronted by fearsome things.

Also, is it possible to die from astral protection? I'm so scared of dying while doing it.

Any advice would be soo appreciated

I had my first experience 17 years ago and I am still doing it. A lot of people struggle with fear in the beginning but that fades. In my opinion its 100% worth it

It can be worth it, but i would be careful.
I grew up lucid dreaming and im not sure why I would always lucid dream and astral project… to the point where I was genuinely losing my mind and couldn’t sleep because of it.
You can face very scary experiences and I would suggest you connect with the universe first and have your intentions clear.
Things can go south pretty quickly and trying to wake up can make things worse.

It is worth it if you do it correctly and carefully. Make sure you set intentions!!!

Depends on how you want to approach handling the fear side of things. I think there's sticky'd posts with advice on feeling safe

The only advice I can offer is to recontexualise fear. Due to the nature of the non-physical realms, energy and emotions have a greater impact on your environment. Fear is an emotion and is only as strong as you decide it is. One thing that may help is to think of fear as a tool that warns you of danger. Nothing can actually hurt you there, since your body is unconscious in the physical realm, so there's nothing to actually be afraid of. Things might happen that seem scary but it's just a "scary experience" and that's it.

It's not like you'll never feel fear, you just need to acknowledge that you're not in danger and that the fear is basically a false alarm response. Fear is a tool and there's no need to rely on a tool that isn't required for that situation

So I won't die if I do it?

No, definitely not. Dying is strictly a physical experience and your physical body can't ever enter the astral plane

Yes, but you also need to be careful when feeling fear. If you try to wake up you will be stuck in a scary loop where you will genuinely believe you are awake and you aren’t! It can easily switch to lucid dreaming. At least that was my experience!!
