These are both a 50 x logitech g . Doesnt say refurbished why is it so much cheaper

im using the astro a50 lightspeed wireless + basestation (M/N A00186 / M/N A00194). The one with only usb c ports on the dock.

I cannot under any condition use the headphones without connecting via bluetooth. It will show and say "Headphones (4- A50 Game)" yet I cannot hear anything. This is with the power connected to an outlet with their usbc power cable and then the usb A to C connected from a usb 3.0 port on my pc to the PC port on the dock.
I can connect through bluetooth, but the bluetooth has an issue where it struggles with pausing audio or multiple audio playing through my pc. Basically I'll start playing something (spotify, youtube, etc) and it'll play 2-3 seconds before giving up. Then I have to try replaying the song? I don't get it. I did firmware update, uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, factory reset, the thingy of holding game + playsync whle on the dock until it flashes. Set as default device in control panel, etc etc

Do these headphones support connection without use of bluetooth? All phrasing in guides is vague on this. If so what am I doing wrong? Is it a dolby atmos windows 10 issue? I just got the headphones

Big fan of the astro series headsets. A50 gen 4 was maybe a bit of a disappointment for me. But a good headset nonetheless. Obviously the next logical step was the gen 5. My question is why cant I balance the game and chat audio with the game and voice buttons on the side of my gen 5s? The normal gen a50 gen 5. Not the a50x.

Hope you're doing well! I had an Astro A50 Gen 2 (I think) that I used with both my PC and PS5.
I don't need to use the Astro microphone. I use a desktop microphone on my PC, and I don't really play many multiplayer games on the PS5. However, I do need to stay connected to my PC at all times while gaming. Multitasking and work-related reasons, hahaha.

I recently bought the Astro A50 X, but I can't use it the same way I used my previous headset.

I connected the PS5 using the PS5 HDMI and USB ports, and the PC via USB.
When I select the PC input, the headphone driver works and I can hear the PC audio, but then the PS5 doesn't even send an image to the TV.
When I select the PS5 input, the image and audio switch to the PS5 source, but the PC driver disconnects, so I can no longer hear the PC while using the PS5.

Is there any way to fix this?
Would it be possible to listen to the PS5 game audio through one output (I think it was "A50 Game") and the PC audio through the other ("A50 Voice")?
I don't really need the microphone functionality.

Someone suggested that I use Bluetooth on my PC, but my motherboard doesn't support Bluetooth.
Do you guys know if there's any way to make this work, and if so, how?

Looking for recommendations for new ear cups. I replaced mine with the a50 mod kit a while ago but they're discontinued and mine are falling apart. I've seen a lot about the wicked cushions but they look similar in size to some leather ones I bought and tbh they sound like ass compared to the mod kit ear cups and I'm worried the wicked ones will sound similar all muted and muffled. Any other recommendation of ear cups y'all have tried?

I’ve been using Astro a 20s for 3 years now but I just got Astro a 30s with some wicked cushions but honestly they make me feel motion sick. I don’t really understand audio balancing at all but what settings should I do for my a 30s to get them to sound as close to my a 20s as possible. And also if anyone knows any reason why some headphones make me feel motion sick that would be awesome, thank you

So I have a g522 or astro a20 and they are awful. Not quality or anything of that matter but the size idk who could fill them lol. They constantly fall off so I'm looking for something else.

So I just bought a pair of a30s after watching a few reviews on YouTube. I got them for $80 thought it was a pretty solid deal.

Hi I want some astros for my pc/ps5 but I wear hearing aids in both ears, just finished my 14 year side with turtlebeaches after endless problems, any astros you recommend with big ear cups? Needs to be spacious to prevent whistling, I had to turn my hearing aids down 6 bars just to wear the TB headset and really struggled with sound. Thanks 🙏🏻

Last night my headset was fine and today I tried using them and they wouldn’t turn on, tried a different cord unplugged usb and charger, reset ps5, nothing is working and idk if I need new headset or what

I know this has been asked before but I did everything right and the problem persists.
In 2K27, I can’t hear my teammates when they talk. Of course chat is turned on to all, I did all the right settings in the Xbox menues, in the game menu. The little simbol apears when they talk but I hear nothing. It shows my simbol on when I talk so everything is turned on. I hear everything else on my headset, except when ppl talk. Can it be the headset itself? a small incompatibility?

Removed the mic since it doesn't work anymore, and the headband is from an old beanie with some stuffed toy stuffing

Any word on if they are getting a Firmware update to resolve the outstanding issues that have been happening for 4+ years?

I have had the Mandalorian version for a while now and have had some issues with it. Reaching out to support last year after the warranty period I was told it was broken and they would not be able to repair them. Apparently Logitech doesn't have any repair avenue whatsoever.

I just purchased a heavily discounted pair from ebay and this new pair has the exact same issues as my current pair. The headphones work flawlessly via just Bluetooth, but have some really annoying issues using the USB dongles.

The Mic will randomly come in super low. It isn't apparent when this is happening until you realize no one can hear you talking. In Fortnite or Marathon the Mic lights up and you can hear yourself perfectly via the Monitor. To fix it, you have to go into the App and toggle the Noise Gate from whatever it is set to something else and starts coming in fine.

Second, it will go to sleep randomly while in use. I hear the shutdown tone and then have to toggle the volume up or down to get it to wake up. Most of the time it will come back but on occasion I have to unplug the USB dongle and plug it back in. It happens on Windows, Xbox Series X, and PlayStation 5 and on Switch 2. Pretty much whenever using the Dongle.

Third it will suddenly switch to 100% volume out of nowhere and you have to toggle the volume button up or down and it will go back to where it was prior. It doesn't register as 100% in the app when this happens.

Lastly it will sometimes be unresponsive after going to sleep when walking away from my PC or Xbox. Most of the time it will wake up after hitting the volume button. When it becomes unresponsive, I have to unplug the USB dongle, power the headset down. And then turn it back on. If I don't unplug or turn off the device the dongle is connected too, it will won't do anything until I do.

I have factory reset them a few times and tried using them with just the USB dongle. The problems persist. Not having the headset connected via bluetooth and the app locks you out of being able to fix the Mic issue.

They are ultimately good headphones but I thought I was dealing with a broken pair. Pretty bummed that this is just how they are if no Firmware is in the works.

I know there have already been quite a few posts comparing these two, but some of them are 200+ days old. As far as I know, there have also been several updates for the Maxwell 2 since then that fixed some of its issues.

So my question is: Has anyone compared the Maxwell 2 directly with the Astro A50s in the past few weeks?

I’m primarily looking for a good headset with great, immersive sound. I don’t need to switch between consoles, but I do use the headset for Teams meetings, and on weekends I sometimes play for 5–10 hours.

However, I’m a little worried that a new generation might be released shortly after I buy it.

The A50X has been around for quite some time now, the McLaren special edition was released, and they’re currently on sale. All of these seem like signs that they might be trying to clear out existing stock before launching a new product.

What do you guys think? Do you think something new is coming soon?

I need help trying to get my headphone to stop echoing. Whenever I play with friends it sounds like everyone is in the void. Iv never known how to fix an echo. Iv got the base A50s (Astro) with the base. And I’m using Discord to chat with them. How can I fix it to where it’s not unbearable to play with me.

I've recently bought a pair of a50s to upgrade my 6 year old a10s and they are refusing to work on my pc. I've tried basically everything the internet tells me and i thought i had it with updating my bios because supposedly the update specifically fixes that issue but i still cant get anywhere.

Everything seems to be working okay and i can visually see the green audio bars moving but i hear nothing, I know the headset isn't a dud because it works with my phone.

Anyone had any similar issues to me? Cheers.

So I just realized after using these for years that I need my default audio to be pro voice because the quality is so much more clear & uses the spatial effect. My problem is, when I have this active over pro game, that I cannot use my Game/Voice knob properly. When I use it, it either completely mutes any sounds, or maximizes every sounds, just like a 2nd volume slider for some reason. Does anyone have a similar situation or know a fix to this?

I have Gen5 A50: My usecase is that I want to connect a device via aux adapter + hearing Discord. For example: Playing a retro console (aux) + Discord via smartphone, but the adapter dont work and I see that Gen 4 has an aux input. Should I send my A50 back?

Hi all I just bought a brand new pair of Astro a50 gen 5 and I’m at a loss right now.

The doc is connected to the wall and my PlayStation. I have the doc set to ps.

Both my mic and audio show usb headset but I can’t hear anything and the mic test shows no audio being received either.

What am I missing??

Always wanted neon reds as a kid. Bought this plastic refresh kit before I found the Main Stage pair and found it didn’t work with the hardware on my retail TRs. After noticing the paint flaking on these I decided to see if the plastics would fit and sure enough they do. Now I have the pair I always wanted as a kid but better.

Note to anyone looking to use a refresh kit for their pair, be aware that it didn’t fit my Gen 4 pair with the silver TR* logo. This pair has the bronze logo, not sure exactly what gen they are but take that for what you will. All I know is Astro themselves have said that the refresh kits only fit Gen 0 and 1

Teammates says they can hear me clear, but quiet, and advice on that?

Checked windows setting, performed hard reset already on headphones

On occasion, I’ll turn my headset off etc, then go and turn my Xbox off. However it sometimes randomly turns itself back on, saying “headset assigned” (despite the headphones being off and no sound coming from them).

Just wondering what I could do to fix this? Or if it’s a genuine bug with the two, due to the hdmi connections etc
