Definitely Delgado on the position player side, Allen as our only infield depth on the bench is way too thin. He stays till Correa is ready to be activated. Probably King or Burrows on the pitching side.

Listening to the Assistant GM on the radio yesterday, sounded like Burrows and Delgado. He did say that bullpen changes may occur throughout the month, but it likely won’t happen before this stretch of 13 straight.

He definitely pointed out the lack of IF depth though.

It’ll be Delgado. The bench is really naked right now with Allen as the only infield depth. It’s a big problem whenever Altuve or Pena is day to day with something.

Injury: Left knee sprain
IL date: July 17 (transferred to 60-day on Aug. 19)
Expected return: TBD
Status: Has been hitting on the field, taking ground balls and running. Next task is to get him on the bases. (updated Aug. 19)

He wouldn’t be able to come back until around September 19th. Likely is done.

It needs to be Pascanel Ferreras and Bryce Mayer but they'll probably do Jake Meyers and Alimber Santa or something.

Mayer probably won't be brought up this year. The reason they sent Pecko instead is cause he's had more starts in AAA. I expect Mayer to get the call next season

Pecko needed to be added to the 40 man in the offseason to avoid the Rule 5 draft anyways. Mayer still has a year left (assuming the CBA doesn't change things)

You said he got the call because he had more starts in AAA. I'm just adding that he had to be added to the 40 man in the offseason, so that gave him the priority over Mayer to get the call this season

Regardless, Altuve isn't doing anything but 2B or DH, so it's pointless bringing in another IF
