Don't know about internationally but price hikes on laptops and pc components are ridiculous. Been planning to buy this for sometime .It listed for 189K rupees (1990$) in most of the places till 30th aug. On 31st it directly jumps to 250k and the funny part is Indian is not even getting the refreshed 2026 lineup of these tuf variants yet.

Due to high prices of ram and storage due to AI , resulting in freaking unbelievable laptop prices, I bought a Used Asus Tuf A15(FA507UV)

SPECS:

AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS

RTX 4060 8GB GDDR6

16 GB RAM AND 512 STORAGE

(I now feel 512 will not be sufficient long term)

The laptop was a 2024 model(warranty expired) Purchased for ₹1,20,000

The condition was fine. But after my usage for 5 days, I got the hinge issue(Not at the time after buying)so I gave it for patchwork which cost an additional ₹2000. Cleaned the dust as well.

I bought this one for ₹70000(Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India). Is it worth it for today's market? Will there be any other issues except the hinges?It is working fine till now. Kindly guide me guys. Thank you for your time reading

I was playing battlefield and it literally crashed and opened into bios on its own showing that I've no storage device. When I rebooted my system it opened into bios again but at that time it was showing the storage device. Today I was again playing the same game, same bs happened again js help me out with anything y'all have.

I’m considering buying the ASUS TUF Gaming F16 FX607VU-SS53 (Model/Part Number: FX607VU-SS53, UPC: 197105871007).

The listing I’m looking at claims:

I know the FX607VU is a family with different display panels, so I’m specifically asking about the SS53 variant.

Can anyone who owns the exact FX607VU-SS53 confirm whether the display is actually 100% sRGB?

If possible, I’d really appreciate:

Your exact model number/part number

Whether you measured the display with a colorimeter or checked its panel specifications

The panel model/ID if you can find it (e.g. from HWiNFO)

Whether you know the NTSC/sRGB coverage

I’m asking because the seller has some reviews mentioning customers receiving laptops with specifications different from the listing, so I want to verify the display before purchasing.

I have been looking up for the same specs on the internet but I have not found any reviews or shops selling it. I only see ASUS TUF ryzen 7 7445hs paired with 4050 and most 4070 I saw is paired with a Ryzen 9. I need help please.

For the love of god I am not able to find any old website which contains the spec sheet of this model to understand how much RAM this laptop supports.

I want to upgrade the RAM, and I don’t know what RAM I need to look for.

My main use of this will require gaming. I know this is an old model, but I would like to upgrade this as much as possible.

My laptop has been restarting for the past 4-5 days when its on battery. can someone pls help me fix this issue. when I check event viewer it shows a bunch of warning with the WHEA tag aswell as a Kernel 41 critical error

I have an ASUS TUF A15 FA506IH with GTX 1650 and ryzen 5 4600H along with 512 ssd and 16 gb ram and i am stuck at this for past few days.

This happened on last friday night ,I have already resetted my laptop reinstalled windows reinstalled drivers, and in G-Helper also I can not change the settings of my gpu, If i try to change my core clock limit it always come back to default in few seconds.I have also cleaned my ram changed my ssd too.

If I run any gpu demanding application and sometimes while turning it on too it just restarts after showing a black screen with error each time which is video_schedular_internal_error 0x119.

Any suggestions will be appreciated

I want something that will last a long time and will be able to play future games. I am thinking about getting it with an RTX 4060. I would probably play Cyberpunk 2077, GTA V, and future AAA games. I'd also like it to be capable of running GTA 6 when it comes out. But mainly for school stuff. Would this be a good choice for something that will last a long time?

I’m having a strange issue with duplicating my second display.

When I connect my second monitor, all the other display modes work normally, including Extend, but Duplicate simply doesn’t work when I select it.

I’m fairly certain this is not a hardware, cable, or monitor issue, because the exact same setup and connections were working normally a few months ago. This makes me think the problem is software-related.

Here’s what I’ve already tried:

• Performed a Windows Repair Install (in-place repair without deleting my files or applications).
• Reinstalled the NVIDIA graphics driver using a Custom → Clean Installation.
• Tried changing/reinstalling the graphics drivers.

Unfortunately, none of these fixed the problem. Extend works normally, but Duplicate still doesn’t.

My laptop is:

• ASUS TUF Gaming A15 FA507NUR
• NVIDIA RTX 4050 Laptop GPU
• Windows 11
• OS Build : 26200.9168

Has anyone experienced something similar, or know what could specifically prevent Duplicate display mode from working while Extend works normally?

So I have researching about tufs for a while now and I called a bunch of offline asus retail stores and everyone quoted me more than 1 lakh for A15s and F15s 😭😭. Why is it less on flipkart and amazon tho??

Brand new, wasn’t like this before, but I also know black light bleed is a normal thing and does change over time. I’m just wondering if this is worth filing an rma.

And anyone having same Asus Tuf F15 (FX507ZC4) . whoever have changed thermals, do i need thermal putty also for vram and vrms?
