Driver 8
That bus just blew past my stop two minutes early and didn’t even slow down. It’s dark! You can’t see me walking there! The same line stops for all the homeless to fight and giggle at the day center. Seriously wtf ACC.

Were you at the stop waiting for the bus or walking to the bus stop? (It’s important) From what I have been told they used to stop at every stop no matter if someone was waiting there or not but updated that policy to only stop if a rider requests a stop or there is someone actively/visibly waiting at the stop. Otherwise they aren’t meant to stop (it was updated to save time and make the bus route more consistent and on time.
However, that being said I have been actively waiting at a stop before on my phone as the bus was coming and it completely bypassed the stop even though I was there. Sometimes these drivers either don’t care enough or end up making a small mistake.

I've found that hailing the bus by stepping to the curb and putting a hand up removes any excuse they might have had.

Do you think this is an ACC policy issue or maybe just a tired employee that probably isn’t paid that well making a small mistake?

Sounds like Driver 8 should take a break.
