Recipe to be posted soon. No guarantees. Simple bakes πŸ’—

Some recent stuff. All simple, all delicious.

Shortbread jam bars, chocolate mousse cake, vanilla confetti cupcakes, nanaimo bars (Not technically baking but close enough), and the best snickerdoodles I've tried.

Happy to share recipes if anyone would like them.

I used this one 😊

It says raspberry but you can use whatever jam you like! I doubled the recipe and did peach and raspberry in one pan, and mixed berry and cherry in another.

I have never eaten a nanaimo bar but have always wanted to. I'm going to make them with your recipe. Thank you so much!

They're pretty easy to make (some of the ingredients, like the custard powder, are a bit odd but worth the energy to find) and they're so, so delicious!

This is the recipe I used for the nanaimo bars, traditionally they include nuts but I used a nut free recipe to accommodate an allergy

https://www.sewathomemummy.com/2016/12/my-nanaimo-bar-recipe-nut-free.html?m=1

And for the snickerdoodles

https://cambreabakes.com/brown-butter-snickerdoodles/

I did add some full fat milk powder to my butter while it was browning, but followed the recipe aside from that.

The jam bars are so cute. The topping looks like little clouds floating across evening skies. Great jam ratio, too. Simple but well done!!

That chocolate cake wouldn’t have lasted 39 seconds with me, lol.
