I recently bought a 3D printer, and I thought I’d try to make my own bakugan design! I wanted to try to make it look something like hydranoid while keeping everything fully automatic(no manual parts). I plan to make a v2 at some point, might try to add automatic horns, and rework the heads and ball form design. It’s also currently the b3 size(36mm), so I might try to bring it down to the b2 size(32mm)

See, while Helios is the perfect definition of what a rival is, Drago's original foil was probably Hydranoid right? They fought 3 times, one for each of their evolutions and where always thinking when they were going to fight each other again.

But... unlike Helios, Hydranoid used to want Drago to be destroyed in order to please Naga, while Helios, while also wanting Drago to be destroyed, he also wanted to overcome Drago and prove that you can be the most powerful without being the enbodiment of the core of Vestroia.

What do you all think, can Hydranoid be considered Drago's Rival?

And that kind of injury should have dislocated his hip/leg bones too, thank the infinity core he got out of that unscathed

What are some theories you have about the Brawlers backstory? Like how they first met & Alice's parents?

In arc 2 of New Vestroia the Six ancient Warriors give their Attribute energy's to the Bakuagan Battle Brawlers Resistance. When this happens most of the Resistance's had a base of level of 400-450 and went up to 600 Except for Drago who went up to 700.

My question is why? I know he's the main Bakugan in the series but I mean in Universe. Especially since his base level before was 400, the lower end of base power levels.

I know you could say Apollonir was the leader of the Six Ancient Warriors but his base level was the same as the other warriors at 500 and when looking at the roles of the Six Ancient Warriors Apollonir was the leader of the Group but Exedra was considered the most powerful. Wouldn't that mean whoever got the Darkus energy would get the higher base level, in this case Percival. I'm not saying Percival should of had the higher base level instead just that technically wouldn't it make sense if he did.

Does anyone know or have any head canons why Drago got a higher base level over the rest of the Resistance Bakugan?

Drago is always the more serious Bakugan, but here it’s just so cute him jumping up and down.

For those of you who don't know, in the Japanese Version, Drago's real name was revealed to us as Salamander. Something that was never really incorporated properly into the Dub, so yeah...And now in the Dub, Helios and a couple of other characters basically converted Drago's real name into a full-blown insult, like "Filthy Salamander", "Damned Salamander", and the list continues. I won't deny that Helios calling Drago a filthy salamander is basically his friendly fire for the dude, since, you know, he was once a fire-breathing lizard, too.

In canon, Drago has kept his name a secret from most. Heck, Dan didn't even learn about it until Drago reunited with his girlfriend, Wavern. Ngl, Drago sure was keeping a lot of secrets from Dan. But still, his real name quickly gets glossed over since Wavern took Dan's nickname for Drago and teased him to no end. Do-Ra-Go.

This makes it all the more funny that Helios was actually one of the few who knew Drago's real name in the Japanese Version. Heck, he even knew his name before meeting Drago for the first time. I'm surprised they managed to resist making a Vegeta parallel with that one, where he insists on referring to Drago by his real name throughout the series.

We all know Ace, the guy who pretty much peaked during his debut battle against Dan, and he's also the Darkus Hero Brawler that fans seemingly feel the least amount of appreciation for, which is honestly tough, because his competition consists of Alice/Masquerade, Ren Krawler, and Spectra. I've always heard people say that Ace would've been better off if Shun wasn't on the team where he was one of the main characters.

It's honestly sad to me where his character ended up, because initially to me it felt like they actually did have ideas for him, but later, they seemingly forgot and/or didn't know how to expand on them. Not to mention, whatever defining traits his character had already existed in other, more popular characters. He's defined by his intense ego, like Dan, and he's also defined by his edge, just like Shun. And even his relationship with Mira is supposed to be a direct parallel to the one shared between Spectra and Gus. Basically, both Gus and Ace carried intense devotion for their respective fermin sibling. However, Spectra and Gus simply had way more scenes and moments dedicated to them in comparison. All in all, Ace's character was basically a redundant archetype.

In the beginning, it seemed like they wanted him to serve as Dan's main foil within the team, but then as soon as Shun was brought into the show, Dan's Main Rival and Best Friend, Ace kinda became that guy on the sidelines. Shun has always been Dan's direct contrast as a character from Battle Brawlers onwards, practically the Sasuke to his Naruto in that sense, except that they have a way healthier and believable friendship.

I honestly will admit that despite being our beloved deuteragonist of the franchise, Shun didn't have much going for him in this season, but at the same time, it's hard for me to not imagine Shun being in this season either, because he looks the coolest in the Resistance Outfit, for me at least. I feel like Ace could've somehow thrived even with Shun being in the season if they simply leaned into his need to be the "cool guy" of the team and really leaned into his parallels with Dan and Shun. Like, his exterior should have started showing cracks of frustration, because he knows he's not a "Chosen One" like Dan, or a seemingly flawless vanguard like Shun, but he should still have the desire to prove that even with the two of them on the team, he can prove that he belongs in the upper echelon of the Resistance.

What do you guys think? I'd love to hear your thoughts. I would love to go into more detail, but I think I got the topic through, and it's becoming a bit too long. So, yeah...
