Back in June I moved into a great house with 2 roommates (one a 26M who is cool, just never there, and the other a 25F who is great and has a cat).

The house and the neighborhood are wonderful and I have liked living here, but unfortunately I just have some personal matters with a new job where I believe my mental health will be better off living alone.

The house is on the corner of Gough St and S Castle, a block from Mary's Tavern and Butt's & Betty's (nice friendly dive bars).

I pay $850 for my room, which includes an additional private room (I use it as a big walk-in closet, as it has a wardrobe and built-in shelving) as well as a private deck.

Private bathroom. The room is on the second floor of the house.

The house is 3 floors in total and features a rooftop deck. Very beautiful and a great deal.

One cool feature of the house is that it has a pulley system for transporting things up and down the stairs (which made moving my bed and other heavy things really easy!).

The landlord is great - she acts fast and is very personable and caring. GE is in her name and each tenant pays her a third of the bill.

Ideally looking for a female with no pets, but cats ok with consent from the other cat-owner roommate in the house. I am looking to move out by December, so you could move in by January!

Our very friendly gray/orange/white striped tabby cat wandered off from our courtyard this morning between 7 and 8 am. We live on chase street between Charles and Cathedral/Maryland. She's very friendly with strangers and can be approached and even picked up. We got her from BARCS as a companion for our other cat and are very anxious to have her back. I’m new to Baltimore and live in Federal Hill. I have an Area 19 residential parking permit, but I recently got a ticket for parking in Area 48. I honestly didn’t realize I wasn’t allowed to park there.

I’m a Florida resident with a non-resident permit, so I’m still trying to figure out Baltimore’s parking rules.

Does anyone have a clear map showing the difference/boundaries between Area 19 and Area 48? I’ve tried looking online but can’t find one that makes sense.

Also, where are Area 19 permit holders supposed to park when there’s no parking available in Area 19? Are there nearby streets where we’re allowed to park, or are we basically out of luck?

Just trying to understand the rules so I can avoid getting another ticket. 😭
