📸 Now hiring a Richmond-native photographer for recurring paid freelance assignments documenting the neighborhoods, businesses, murals, food, architecture, and river that make Richmond feel like Richmond.
Priority filter: you have to know this city. The photos are for a Richmond travel/lifestyle brand — knowing which corner of Manchester catches the light at 4pm, which Church Hill storefront just changed hands, or where the best mural walk in Scott's Addition is matters more than gear specs.
ABOUT THE WORK
• 1.5–2.5 hours per assignment, most weekdays 10am–3pm
• Natural, high-resolution originals — no editing needed
• Occasional short vertical video clips (phone quality is fine)
• A few observation notes about what you saw
• Focus is on one neighborhood or theme at a time
PAY: $33–$115 per assignment based on scope. Paid weekly via Zelle. Steady growing volume for the right person.
YOU BRING
• Real Richmond knowledge (please tell me which neighborhoods you know best)
• Your own DSLR or mirrorless camera (24MP or higher)
• Reliable transportation across the city
• On-time delivery — every single time

IDEAL FIT
• Richmond native, RVA transplant of 5+ years, or serious weekend photographer who already spends time walking the city
• Available primarily weekday afternoons
• Wants steady recurring work over one-off gigs
This is 1099 independent contractor work — flexible schedule, weekly pay, growing volume.
