Discussions I was tired of not giving my 100% , so i did this for my idea. And now I am approaching them directly 🔥

I am building Zspot, a platform to rent/hire your exterior spaces of houses and building for advertisement .

After conducting about 100+ feedback interviews on my idea , i realised that 95% of the users : said YES to rent their exterior spaces. Ofcourse!! The main reason behind was the money 🤑 they will get.

That's where it clicked,I knew people would easy to convince. But the main thing would be whether brand are interested in this or not. It's not that I am going to give up without trying.

So yesterday, I just called their customer care of a jewellery brand and from their chain reaction happend. One call led to another and then I got on a call with a marketing head of the brand. After hearing about our idea, he asked me send a proposal on email. Which i happily did🚀

I am looking forward to their email 🚀📈

Looking for job/gig Bangalore startup founders / hiring managers

Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for a remote opportunity. Open to unconventional roles.

I'm putting this out here because I'm actively looking for my next opportunity, and I'm hoping the Bangalore startup community might be able to help.

My background is somewhat unconventional. I'm a Learning Experience / Instructional Designer by experience, but my skill set extends well beyond L&D. I've spent my career working across content, technology, user experience, business requirements and stakeholder management, and I'm now looking for a role where I can use more of that breadth.

What I can bring to a startup:

Product / Project

- Product management fundamentals & certification

- Requirements gathering and stakeholder management

- User-centric problem solving

- UX fundamentals + Figma

- Project coordination and execution

- Creating workflows, documentation and processes

Learning / L&D

- Instructional & Learning Experience Design

- E-learning and digital learning

- Learning strategy and curriculum design

- Articulate Storyline, Rise, Captivate

- LMS experience

- Training / enablement

- AI literacy & learning content

AI / Automation

- Exploring and building with AI

- Workflow automation

- n8n

- Using AI to improve content, learning and business processes

- Very comfortable learning new tools and figuring things out independently

Revenue / Operations

- Revenue Operations certification

- Process improvement

- Lead-generation workflows

- Cross-functional coordination

- Research, documentation and data-driven problem solving

I've also worked in environments where you have to take an ambiguous problem, figure out what needs to happen, coordinate with people, build the thing and get it across the finish line.

And that's honestly the kind of environment I'm looking for.

Roles I'm open to:

- Product Manager / Associate Product Manager

- Product Operations

- Project / Program Management

- Revenue Operations

- Learning & Development

- Instructional / Learning Experience Design

- AI Learning / AI Enablement

- Customer / Employee Enablement

- Operations

- EdTech

- Or a hybrid role where I can wear multiple hats

I'm specifically looking for remote work, but I'm particularly interested in Bangalore-based startups.

I'm also very open to joining an early-stage company where the role isn't perfectly defined yet. If you need someone who can move between product + learning + operations + AI + execution, I'd love to talk.

I'm not looking for someone to hand me a perfectly defined job description. Give me a problem and I'll figure out how to solve it.

I've been searching for a while and, honestly, it's been tough. So I'm trying Reddit instead of sending another hundred applications into the void.

If you're a founder, hiring manager, recruiter, or know someone who might be looking for this kind of profile, please DM me. I'm happy to send my resume, portfolio and certifications.

Even a referral or a share would mean a lot.

Thank you. ❤️

Offering Insights/Lessons Looking for 2 startup / brands that are good at what they do but nobody seems to care yet.

Heyy I’m helping businesses figure out how to actually position themselves, and turn attention into customers.
One thing I can tell you (obviously without knowing what your product or service is) -
If your sales or marketing feels hard, step back from “what should we do?” and ask yourself this -

“Why would someone care about us specifically?”

That question might be more useful than another marketing tactic.

Not trying to approach with the generic marketing playbook, but I’m mentioning below what I can do. So let’s find the thing that makes people care first! And then build around it.

Growth strategy.
Branding / positioning.
Creative campaigns (my specialty).
Content.
Customer acquisition.
Conversion.

Got 2 spots open right now. DM me what you do and what goal you’re trying to achieve.

Mod Post Should we crowdsource a list of toxic Bangalore startups?

Every day, someone somewhere in some cramped-up PG room or frosted-glass cubicle comes up with a startup idea.

Some of them even dare to hire people and get some work going.

But not everyone is not a good boss.

And not every good idea ends up becoming a decent startup.

Toxic people beget toxic startups, so, would you want to be well-aware of all the ones that should be avoided like the plague, or nah?

11 votes, 6d left
a- Not really.
b- Yes, and it should be detailed with every instance of harassment and vile behavior.
c- Maybe; should focus on how to identify and avoid such startups.
d- Both B and C.
e- Startups are volatile and shouldn't be judged based on hearsay.
f- Yes, I need urgent 'tea' to spice up my life.

MVP/Beta/Prototype/Test I built a local-first app for early builders and looking for brutally honest testers + growth co-founders ✅

Post image
0 Upvotes

Hey everyone 👋 I’m building Foundup, an early version of a platform for people who want to find approachable founders, collaborators, and co-founders nearby.

It is designed to feel less intimidating than cold DMs and crowded groups, discover people, connect around a clear intent, and hopefully turn online discovery into real conversations.

Try it here 😊 : https://foundup-web.vercel.app/

I would genuinely value honest feedback on:

  • Does the experience feel clear and trustworthy?
  • What feels confusing, unnecessary, or missing?
  • Would you use this to meet local builders?
  • What would make you return?

I’m also looking for potential co-founders or collaborators who are strong in marketing, community-building, growth, or distribution. If the problem resonates with you, please comment or DM me ☺️ .

Seeking Advice/Feedback Are you skipping breakfast? What if your breakfast came in a bottle?

Post image
26 Upvotes

Namaskara Bengaluru 👋

I’m working on an idea called 8AM - Breakfast Before 8AM.

The concept is simple: a fresh, ready-to-drink breakfast that you can grab in the morning and head out, instead of cooking breakfast or skipping it completely.

I’m currently testing two options 350 ML:
1. Ragi Almond Date.
2. Chocolate Oats.

Would you actually have something like this as your breakfast? What’s the price you are happy to pay?

Or would you still prefer a proper breakfast that you can sit down and eat?

I’m planning to start in North Bangalore, but I’d love to hear from anyone in Bangalore.

If you regularly skip breakfast, what would make you switch to something like this?

And honestly, what would make you say, “That’s not breakfast”? 😅

I’m just validating the idea before launching, so honest opinions are welcome.

MVP/Beta/Prototype/Test We just launched BLR Weekends.

An invite-only way to meet one interesting person in Bangalore every weekend.

You tell us a little about yourself.

We pick someone we think you should meet.

We choose the venue.

Both of you get the details over email.

Then you just show up.

No swiping.

No big meetup.

No networking agenda.

Just one curated 1-on-1 conversation over coffee.

Maybe you make a friend.

Maybe you meet someone to build something with.

Maybe it’s just a really good coffee with someone you’d never have met otherwise.

That’s enough for us.

We’re starting small and carefully curating the first matches.

blrweekends[dot]in

Applications are open.

Discussions Anyone else in Bangalore who wants to build something instead of just talking about it?

I’ve been thinking about this for a while.

I have a full-time job, but I don’t want my entire career to be just work → salary → weekend → repeat.

I want to try building something of my own on the side.

I don’t have some revolutionary startup idea sitting in my notes. And honestly, I’m okay with that.

I’d rather meet a few ambitious, curious people and start with a different question:

“What problems are people actually willing to pay us to solve?”

Could be a software product.

Could be something powered by AI.

Could be a boring business that nobody is talking about.

Could even be something completely unrelated to tech.

I’m more interested in finding an opportunity than forcing an idea.

My approach would be pretty straightforward:

Talk → identify real problems → research → test the idea → build a basic version → put it in front of people → learn from what happens.

No fancy pitch decks.

No “we’ll become billionaires in 2 years.” 😂

No quitting jobs on day one.

Just consistent effort.

I’m also not expecting everyone to have a startup background or be a developer. If you’re good at sales, marketing, finance, operations, design, researching markets, networking, or simply thinking differently — that can be just as valuable.

I’m comfortable with the possibility that our first attempt completely fails.

Actually, I’d rather fail at 3 ideas and learn something than spend 3 years wondering what would have happened if I had tried.

If you’re in Bangalore, have a job, and have been thinking “I should build something someday” — maybe we should stop saying someday.

DM me. Tell me what you do, what you're curious about, and what kind of things you'd genuinely enjoy building.

Let's see what happens.

Worst case, we meet some interesting people.

Best case, we build something that actually works. 🚀

Seeking Advice/Feedback Got my first 1000 users for my little party iOS app in 1.5 months!!!

Post image
3 Upvotes

This is one of those milestones I really wanted to reach someday, but I had absolutely no idea how I’d get there. I’m literally shaking a little from the excitement right now.

Games like Headbands, Charades, and Truth or Dare are ridiculously competitive. There are hundreds of apps already doing them, but a lot of them felt dated to me. The whole idea behind Who Goes was pretty simple: bring these game modes together in one place, give them a modern, playful UI, and make the app itself feel fun when you’re sitting around and playing with people.

Almost everyone I spoke to told me not to do it.

They said the space was too crowded, that I’d be better off building something else, and honestly, a part of me did think about switching. But another part of me just really wanted to give this a proper shot.

So I started working on Who Goes around two months ago, and I’ve pretty much worked on it every single day since.

Just last week I shared that the app had crossed $100 in revenue, which was already a huge milestone for me. I genuinely did not expect that a week later I’d be sitting here looking at 1,000 downloads.

That number might not sound crazy to everyone, but man, seeing a game I built sitting on 1,000 actual downloads feels insane to me.

And as I mentioned in my last post, I absolutely suck at marketing.

Most of what I’ve done is just showcase the app. A game mode, a small interaction, some animation I was proud of, and then hope it reaches the right people. I’ve posted videos on Reddit, X, LinkedIn, and Instagram and just kept experimenting with what works. It's been fully organic.

Alongside that, I’ve been talking to users, collecting feedback, fixing things, adding new modes, and continuously refining the experience.

So if even one of those 1,000 downloads came from someone who found Who Goes through this subreddit, thank you. Seriously. It means a lot more to me than you probably realise.

Anyway, I just wanted to share this milestone because I’m incredibly happy right now. :D

Need Advice

And if anyone here has advice on getting the app in front of a broader audience, finding more people to try it, or even has feedback on the app itself, I’d genuinely love to hear it.

Thank you!

Meetups/IRL Events (F-21) So the meetup happened. a girl found her cofounder in 2 sentences.

ran that women only event. I wasn't planning on posting again but a few things happened that I can't stop thinking about so here we goo

context: it was women only, small, just people actually building something

one girl found her actual cofounder in that room. like, exchanged 2 sentences, vibed and realized they're solving the same problem from opposite ends, now they're building together!!?? 🔥

another girl had been stuck on the same validation question for 3 months. asked it out loud in front of the room. 4 girls who'd already been through that exact thing raised their hands. she said she got more clarity in 10 minutes than 3 months of googling 🫡

by the end of the night people weren't holding business cards, they were holding actual lists names of people they were messaging that week, not "let's keep in touch" people (SEE IMAGE!!) 🍾

I keep thinking about the girl who told me last time "I don't know any other women doing this here." she was in that room. she doesn't say that anymore (yipeeee!!!)

not going to lie, if you weren't there, you missed something that's not really repeatable in the same way. the exact mix of women in that room won't be in the same room again

we are doing another one soon. still women only, still just for people building something, doesn't matter the stage

if you want in, fill this FORM, just your name, linkedin, phone, and what you're building. I go through it myself and add people to the group directly, no bots, no auto add

Thank you reddit for making this happen :)

Hiring DM if you can help me build an AI insights agent

[HIRING] Contract — build an insights engine for facility-management software. No chatbot. It's allowed to be slow. It is not allowed to be wrong.

4-min read -

I am building a facility-management software to be used by facility owners in India. Members, plans, payments, schedules, staff, etc — all sitting in Postgres, all quietly containing the answer to "why is my business leaking money", and all currently doing absolutely nothing about it.

I want to hire someone to fix that.

The job: build a one-way insights engine. It reads a facility's data and writes back findings. Owner opens the dashboard, sees things that are true and useful about their business. That's the whole product surface.

What it is not: a chatbot. Nobody is typing "hey, how's my business doing?" I don't want a text box. I want the software to have already noticed.

The one constraint I care about: it can take ten minutes to think because it will be something that they check every morning maybe and not on the fly. It cannot be wrong. A gym owner who catches one hallucinated number stops trusting every number after it, forever. I would rather ship five insights that are boring and correct than fifty that are clever and occasionally fiction. If your instinct is "just pipe it to an LLM and prompt it nicely" — I've thought about it, and that's exactly how you get confident nonsense about someone's livelihood.

What good looks like, roughly in order of difficulty:

- Basic: collections are down 12% on last month, and here's which four members account for it.

- Middle: members who miss two consecutive weeks renew at 31% versus 78% for everyone else. Here are the eleven currently in that window.

- Advanced: your 6am slot has been full for five weeks with people turned away. A second trainer for that hour costs ₹X and the waitlist alone covers it.

The last one is the actual product. The first one is table stakes.

Stack: Postgres (Supabase), Prisma, Fastify/Node, Next.js. I don't care what you write the engine in — Python is fine, TypeScript is fine, SQL and a cron is honestly fine. I care that it's testable, that I can read it after you leave, and that every number it produces can be traced back to rows.

Not looking for: a dashboard with fourteen charts. Owners don't open dashboards. Every insight needs to survive the question "and what should I do about it?"

Logistics: contract, remote, duration/hours - no fixed constraint, I need to feature built (within 30 days), that's it. Budget — happy to discuss based on scope. Real data, real users, small enough that your work ships in weeks not quarters.

To apply: DM with something you've built where correctness mattered and you had to prove it. Then tell me, in two lines, how you'd stop the thing hallucinating a number. Answers that start with "we'd write a really good prompt" go in the bin. Answers that mention deterministic computation with the model only doing presentation go to the top.

Fundraising Looking for a Pre-Seed Investor / Equity Partner – Café-on-Wheels Startup

I'm looking for a serious pre-seed investor/equity partner to help me take a café-on-wheels concept from planning to execution.

I already have the core concept, initial business plan, branding direction and execution framework prepared. I'm currently looking for initial funding for a structured research + execution phase before the main investment.

The initial phase will focus on:

• Ground-level customer & competitor validation

• Comparing Hyderabad and Bengaluru and identifying the right launch market

• Location research and feasibility

• Meeting manufacturers and getting actual vehicle/equipment quotations

• Supplier and inventory research

• Menu costing and pricing validation

• Understanding city-specific licences and permissions

• Consulting experienced F&B professionals

• Building the operational and staffing plan

• Pre-launch branding and audience building

• Preparing the final CAPEX, OPEX and investment requirement

This isn't simply a research project where I'll decide later whether to start. The research is designed to directly prepare the business for execution and reduce avoidable risks before the larger capital is deployed.

I'm looking for someone who understands early-stage F&B ventures and is interested in an equity-based, long-term partnership, including the possibility of participating in the larger investment after the initial phase.

I'm keeping the detailed concept and financials private for now, but I'm happy to share them with genuinely interested investors after an initial conversation.

Not looking for loans, brokers or agencies. Serious investors/equity partners only.

DM me if you're interested.

Discussions An important update for companies with pending ROC compliances.

📢 CCFS 2026 – Extended Till 15 September 2026

The Companies Compliance Facilitation Scheme (CCFS) 2026 has been extended up to 15 September 2026, providing eligible companies with additional time to regularise their pending compliances.

Under the Scheme, eligible companies can benefit from:

🔹 Pending ROC Filings: Only 10% of the applicable additional fee is payable for eligible pending filings.

🔹 Strike-Off: Eligible companies applying for closure/strike-off can avail the applicable 25% concession in fees, subject to the conditions of the Scheme.

This extension can be particularly useful for companies that have:

• Pending annual filings or other ROC forms

• Long-standing filing defaults

• Compliance-related issues that need to be regularised

• A decision pending regarding continuation or strike-off of the company

With the extended deadline of 15 September 2026, companies should review their pending ROC compliances and determine whether they can take advantage of the Scheme within the available window.

A good opportunity to close pending compliances and bring the company’s ROC records up to date.
