So this is one of the weirdest instances of lazy sprite syndrome mmbn has quite a few actually, starforce as well.
Generally, a sprite is correct "when facing right" if their sword is in their left hand when they are facing to the right, that is correct. This is why link is left handed, so is megaman.
This instance is weird because... this was actually drawn wrong. as you can see. most of his sprites have his eye thing over his right eye. The sprite only used once (jumping off naxa) is facing left, and wrong. The problem though... it's still wrong if you flip it to face right. his mugshot however correctly places it on his right eye.
Bn5 mugshot again correctly places it. his sprites however are incorrect "when facing right" and put the eye thing on the left.

What did you mean by this? If you flip those specific sprites they should be on his right eye no?

Ok, try it yourself. Flip the sprite so he faces right.
I think it was intentionally wrong personally, the man that jumped from naxa was NOT regal. And that was the hint.

Whoops, yea i said it wrong. You're right.
The sprite is only used once and only ever faces left if you MIRROR the sprite to face right it corrects it, but if you turned him to face right as he is, it's wrong.
Which means they made the asset wrong.

For some people, if the punchline isn't regurgitated into their throats like they're a baby bird, it doesn't exist. NGL, it took a bit for it to sink in for me.

The font is more egregious imo.....so glad people found how to mod in one that doesn't feel as out of place like what they put in the collection 😅
