Please help me
Yesterday I took an uber that I immediately felt yucky in. In fact, instinctually the thought of bed bugs went into my head while I was in there, as it has always been a fear of mine. This morning, I find the pictured bug dead in my room. Now I am currently tearing my room apart looking for any evidence. Aside from washing everything I own, please give me advice. Is it possible that I carried a dead specimen in from the car? I am reporting to Uber as well.

It could be a lone soldier but keep up the work in sweeping the apartment in case. Hopefully your instinct is right.

I’ll be honest I think it’s just the one, it was probably a hitchhiker 🌸 wash and dry everything on high heat, and keep an eye out …. Uber is so scary now

Read and respect the rules, report any comment breaching them. Wrong advice/information/fearmongering hurt people who are posting here to get help and support. If you are not VERY knowledgeable about bedbugs and may provide a wrong ID or bad advice it's better to abstain from commenting. Be VERY respectful and HELPFUL, this is a support subreddit not a funny one.
