8. Jimmys beer cafe😭. Also OG pub culture. Chill, relaxed, no creeps & drama queens, no silly third rate influencers irritating you and fairly safe compared to today.
9. Radio city, 91.3 FM
10. Old book stores - Gangarams, higgin bothams, big sapna book house at safina plaza, nagashree bookhouse etc.

So I stopped for Diesel today at Shell pump. The guy insisted on “free engine oil checkup”. I said okay. He lifted the bonnet and checked the oil stick. He said “sir oil has gone bad, you need a new oil top up”. Then he opened the oil cap. Some fumes came out. He insisted on oil change again (Later I checked that it’s normal to have a bit of fumes coming out) Bro car was serviced 2 months ago. Then he pointed at coolant and said it needed a top-up too. I had driven for 40 minutes and every thing seemed fine. Temperature was also stable at 90 degrees. I almost gave in to the pressure but stopped myself. I said I’ll get it checked with actual mechanic tomorrow. Did I escape from a scam? Is Shell legit? This was Koramangala btw.

Shifted two months back in 2bhk gated society from 1bhk standalone, bought new Mug and bucket just two month back. Super hard water causes calcification on my new bucket and mug, not only causing it to look ancient but also i feel disgusting to use. What product do you people use to remove this hards scales ? Checked on amazon, flipkart but nothing looks promising.

Recently one my friend shifted to new apartment which is constructed using mivan structure. His experience is that there are multiple leakages and seepages observed in last few months everywhere in building. After following up with builder they fixed plumbing leakages and grouting of all flats. As per builder now no more leakages will occur. Also he is not sure whether this is true as the family living above his flat did not took possession and will planning to move after 6 months.

Was riding back from Devarayanadurga Hills to Sarjapur yesterday. Went there via highway, no problem. On the way back I put my phone on the bike stand so I don't have to keep checking the route.

Some distance before reaching city outskirts, Maps suddenly took me off the highway onto a service road. I thought maybe the highway was blocked ahead, so I followed it.

The service road didn't end. I thought my GPS was acting up, so I restarted my phone. Still same route. Installed Waze thinking it's a Google Maps problem. Waze also gave me the same service road.

Meanwhile cars and trucks were driving normally on the highway right beside me, while I was stuck on service road stopping at every signal. Kept expecting the app to bring me back to the highway. It never did.

This went on for almost 25-30km before I even entered city, then I was straight into city traffic. Took almost double the time it should have. I'm new to city and don't know the roads well, so I just trusted the app.

Later found out Google Maps is actively rerouting two-wheelers to service roads instead of highways. Not a one-time glitch.

F this maps man. If you ride a two-wheeler in city, check your route before trusting the app blindly on highway stretches.
