Hi everyone. I'm coming to bilbao on holiday in the middle of October. I was hoping to do the 10k on 17/10 but it has sold out. Does anyone have any advice or a spare place that I could have?

I was planning to go to the bib collection place at the end of the collection window to see if they had any spare on the evening of 17/10.

Voy a Bilbao de vacaciones a mediados de octubre. Me habría gustado participar en la carrera de 10 km del 17/10, pero ya se han agotado las inscripciones. ¿Alguien podría darme algún consejo o, por casualidad, tiene un dorsal que no vaya a utilizar y que pudiera cederme?

Estaba pensando en ir al lugar de recogida de dorsales al final del horario de recogida, por si les quedara algún dorsal disponible para la tarde del 17/10.

Voy a estar de Erasmus en Deusto este curso y me interesa inscribirme en un equipo de fútbol o baloncesto. Los clubes que he visto son de nivel muy alto, y no busco algo tan competitivo. Alguien conoce algún club, grupo de chicas o equipo que juega en Bilbao (cerca de la uni de Deusto)

We are a family of 4 travelling to Bilbao for a week and my Mother in law who is also travelling with us is a vegetarian (not even eggs). Need suggestions for vegetarian friendly restaurants because the rest of us eat everything. Even if the restaurant offers maybe 3-4 vegetarian dishes, that is also fine. Thanks!

My partner and I are currently in Bilbao after finishing a cycling trip and need to pack up our bikes to put on a plane. Many shops are closed so we are having a hard time finding what we need: cardboard bike boxes (or large pieces of cardboard) and bubble wrap, packing paper or other types of packaging material for protecting the bike in the box. Please let me know if you have any!

Hola, tengo 17 años y voy a iniciar el curso que viene bachillerato humanístico aquí. Se que la publicación no va específicamente de Bilbao ciudad pero no tenía donde más publicarlo. Vivo en Muskiz y estoy valorando estudiar en algún instituto público de Portugalete o Santurtzi (ya que la verdad me acostumbro más a ritmo de ciudad aunque tenga que tomar bizkaibus) pero no sé qué tan buenas opiniones y como sean los institutos ahí. Actualmente no hablo euskera y aunque lo estoy aprendiendo por mi cuenta quisiera saber si todos los institutos tienen modelos mixtos o algunos solo son en euskera o como. Toda opinion es bien recibida y gracias

Trying to recharge barik card but keep getting this error. Get it if I use apple wallet, or punch in credit card details correctly. Tobacco store I bought the card from only took cash, so looking for a way to use my credit card to put 10 or so euros on it.

Also tried the ctb.eus website recharge and got a similar error. Any thoughts? I put 5 euros on the card when I bought it and have used it a couple trips already.

Random question. For watching the solar eclipse, we bought two foldable chairs at Decathlon and a parasol at Lidl. We’re flying home soon and can’t take them with us. Is there somewhere we can easily leave them so someone else can use them again?

Hi, will be visiting Bilbao during the first week of September, and the Bellas Artes/Fine Arts Museum certainly looks very impressive, but I understand that the interior of the building has been undergoing significant renovations over the last 12 months or so - what stage are they at now, and how much of the collection is actually on open display at the moment? Buongiorno. A Settembre verrò 5 giorni in vacanza a Bilbao, ho prenotato l'hotel "Libre Bilbao la Vieja" in Vitoria Gasteiz Kalea. Una cosa che ho notato dalle recensioni è che il quartiere dove si trova l'hotel è pericoloso e fatiscente. Volevo sapere se si tratta di una zona pericolosa oppure no. Grazie mille a tutti quelli che risponderanno.

My friend is traveling to Spain from India, will reach Bilbao airport at 11:30PM. She has to go to San Sebastian, where she has booked the hostel. However, we got to know the last shuttle bus is at 12 midnight, and getting out of flight, collecting luggage might take some time and then she might miss the bus.

So, what to do?!

1. She can stay in Bilbao, take a taxi from Airport to some hotel.

2. She can stay at the Bilbao airport in the night, leave for San Sebastian in the morning using shuttle bus.

3. She can directly take a taxi to her hostel in San Sebastian (but that's quite expensive).

Are there any other options?

She booked a hostel closeby, and would take a taxi, roam around Bilbao the next day and leave for San Sebastian in the evening.

Hi, I'm having a long layover in Bilbao (14h) from 19h/8pm until my next flight at 9 the next morning, I've seen that the airport closes at night but that the car rental lobby was still accessible to sleep in, how true is that? And what other cheap option could I have, I'm kind of scared to miss my flight if I go in the city during my layover. Thanks a lot if you can help!

We are on a stag do here and it's our last night. Akt of pubs and bars are closed early due to Sunday hours and a religious festival I was wondering does anyone have any recommendations for pubs or bars open later?
