im back now ive brought her home. the sounds have gone down now when shes resting but its still there. like its reduced from yesterday at least. it sounds like a "blockage"

she seems to struggle to eat properly. she still appears very bright and moving around a lot. i dont know what to do. she hulls the seeds but doesnt actually eat the inside. she just cracks it open. shes trying. she drank water.

i have literally no avian or exotics today. please advise me on what I can do😭

Heyy, maybe like try contacting an online avian vet, like it won't be much help but maybe they could prescribe a better medicine or like guide you on what to do until your exotic vet opens

Did she throw this up as well? Because in this video she looks to me like a healthy little birdie

She didn't throw up at all today, i believe the Metoclopramide is helping with that. But the issue is, she isn't actually eating it. I can tell how hungry she is, she just removes the husks and doesnt actually eat it. :(

Maybe try hand feeding her if you are worried that she hasn't eaten in a while, likr or maybe give her mashed food that she doesn't have to put energy in eating

You could try the pellets or something else you have on hand. Maybe even some nuts, anything that she could ingest. If she's really hungry, she might try to eat something outside of her comfort zone

She tried some pellets off my hands. Im not sure if she swallowed it, i saw some crumbs but I doubt she ate enough.

You got any veggies you can feed her? Or millet? Mine was doing the same as yours, and he devoured millet when I put it in. Also mixed in tiny bits of cucumber, pepper, peas and broccoli, and he put on 5 grams in 5 days.

Might be yours has similar discomfort with hard to digest things like seeds as mine does, millet and veg are much easier on them.

I've got brocoli and some carrot. I avoided it because I wasnt sure if shes able to swallow properly and that the wetness from veg may irritate her.

Her cage is still covered since last night. I was allowing her to sleep a little more since she barely had any rest and I think I heard her eating. I will check the bowls after if she's eaten properly.

看起來好像很精神,有些鸚鵡不懂吃有殼糧,不用擔心,可以試試給它吃乾糧
