Advice Needed how to tell if a girl is wlw (PLEASE help)

posting on here to try get some more advice frmm people my own age

i (f17), am about to start a new school this september and would love some tips.

i want to preface this by saying i understand that especially at this age, a lot of people don’t have themselves entirely figured out yet, may want to experiment or be closeted etc etc. i also know that there is no 100% reliable way to know if a girl is gay other than straight up asking (but that’s too scary i’m sorry).

i want to understand some mannerisms or traits that may point towards a girl being into girls and GENUINELY. at this age, i feel as though there are a lot of people who pretend to be bi for clout or for male attention (i know it is 100% an individuals business to identify how THEY want to but it can get quite frustrating at times).

i would also like help in how to gently introduce that i like girls to people (mostly so that i can talk about my crushes with my friends the same way they can talk to each other about boys). i feel as though i am kinda fortunate in the sense that i think it’s quite obvious i’m wlw IF you’re looking for it. i generally wear clothes with a more masculine silhouette, but i would argue i still look pretty feminine. idk i think theres something about me that would read pretty obviously as gay to somebody who was really trying to guess (i hope).

im pretty shy and too nervous to flirt with girls without being sure i at least have a shot. (sidenote: i usually go for feminine girls, and hence am the slightly more masculine one in the dynamic, sometimes i feel like i am expected to ‘be in charge’ when in reality i want someone else to guide me. are there any girls who actually like this/find this endearing?)

any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

TL;DR: i am too shy flirt with girls without knowing they are into girls or asking directly, any hints or giveaways?

Advice Needed I need advice in what to take when moving out

So I got kicked out of my family house for college related things, specifically I failed a semester and wanted to dropped out, (I thought they would kicked me out for being bi, turn out I didn't even got the chance to tell) but I don't know what to take with me aside the clothes, my cats and all the LGBT hidden things in my room.

Like 90% of things I have I bought them the other 8% percent are friends gifts and the 2% family gifts, so I don't want to left anything behind but being realistic I don't think I can take every single thing.

I have a lot of collectionables and signatures of actors and voice actors also I have a lot of legos, videogames, art things, science things and parts of things to build other things .

I literally have to move everything out in 2 days if not my mom boyfriend told me he was going to throw everything left behind to the trash and I don't know what to take

Also should I take family photos I feel like I shouldn't but either way I dont want to left them for them?

Advice Needed I really dont know what to do now

Im currently f17, and had my share of dating and crushes to realize my sexuality enough to bring me to the subreddit; recently ive been talking with this les thats a bit smaller than me, and i have never really encountered this level of intellectual compatibility with anyone b4.. i really appreciate our friendship and we have been getting close enough that we are sharing alot of more private info about ourselves and playfully flirting with each other. She is conventionally attractive and starting to get more and more serious and passionate; our friends ship us, and unusual things like that.

But I js don't feel like having a crush or anything.. it could be developing or that it is a healthier relationship, despite trying i cant bring myself to feel the rushes of emotions that i k im capable of feeling but its just not happening to her, and im a quite emotionally passionate person.

Should i try to like her harder or something...? But it lowk feels unfair to both parties and im rly confused rite now, pls help me TAT

Advice Needed HOW TO KNOW YOU ARE QUEER

I'm a 15 yo female and I am so confused rn I've always been attracted to men but suddenly ive started to think about if a woman was in that place, I wouldn't mind at all. But it's like a constant topic in my head so I don't know how to be sure that my head is just tricking me becuz I'm thinking about it too much or what. Worst I feel like I like this one girl in my class. I didn't think about it before but oh it's getting worst, I only realized after my friend confessed that she had a crush on her. I was happy for my friend at first but now I feel like I REALLY like this girl like she's so pretty, her personality is amazing, she feels like someone safe and someone id want to love ykwm. And when I talk to her, I get nervy and want to impress her. BUT what if I'm just thinking about it too much and I just want to be her friend. To add on to my suspicions, Ive never been attracted to man's body but for some reason something I've always been guilty about is finding women's bodies more attractive. I had a very weird dream a few years back which I've always always tried to not think about because I was so guilty of it even being on my mind. It was something intimate I was doing to a girl and after that dream I was really disgusted by myself specifically because I was homophobic at that time. But what if I'm thinking about this too much becuz I got over it after a small amount of time and just never thought back to it. I have a friend I could talk about this to but she's the friend who has a crush on the girl I like so I would just feel guilty(which I already am). I also am not feeling too good about posting this here because what if I am wrong and it's just a thought in my head which I will be over with by next month. Is it bad to consider something like this and not actually have those feeling by the end?. Ik I like men but if I like girls too. What should I do?

Story How I Figured Out I was Bi.

I have just recently come to understand and accept the fact that I am Bi. Though this is not the story of how I came out (that is still yet to happen), this is the story of how I figured out I was Bi. I have a close female friend who I watch anime with. (For context I am 14 male and feel little attraction to my friend [also 14]). Anyways, we were watching a show called Moriarty The Patriot together when a character named Sherlock comes on screen and my friend is like "he's hot." I Agreed with her in the fact he was conventionally attractive and we went on with the episode. That evening, I was scrolling on Pintrest and I saw a fan art of Sherlock and my heart I kid you not literally skips a beat. Up to that point in my life I had not found any male actually attractive, but after that point I realized I was misidentifying what I felt. I had thought what I was feeling was something else. After that day I have found many more examples of guys who I find hot, such as the Youtuber "Snook." He recently face revealed and dam he is hot. Anyways I thought this story was funny and worth sharing. (I am very interested in hearing anyone else's stories like this one.)

Advice Needed Impostor syndrome as a trans girl

Sophia here, and I'm trans. Yep. Unfortunately, my dumbass put my former name as my permanent Reddit username.

And that's what I want to rant about here.

I'm fine with being called Rayyan, so what's the point of being Sophia now? Hell, I'm still stuck in Rayyan's body.

About my interests, they're still the same, probably because I'm WAYYY too lazy to find new interests as a girl.

Voice training's pretty hard, and I often fail at it. Because of school and that kind of stuff taking plenty of my time, along with my laziness to do anything and my tendencies to bedrot, it's very hard to get anything done.

Hell, my parents found out that I've been shaving my arms and legs, and they to leave me to stop. The arm hairs have grown quite a bit now, and this adds to that bitchass impostor syndrome even more.

Can't someone from Malaysia do ANYTHING??? ✌😭

PLEASE give me suggestions on what to do. And I know this is maybe in the wrong sub.

(Picture of vultures unrelated, I just think they're cool)

Story I'm heartbroken

yea so basically there's a girl in my grade that I've been madly in love with since like june, and i legit can't stop thinking abt her. i can't even sleep some nights I'm yearning so hard. anyways yesterday we hung out together just the two of us at her house, and i was so excited.

i was certain she was florting with me over text and she my gaydar was going off, and i thought we had good chemistry, so when we were on her couch i inched a little closer to her, but she had no reaction.

then we were talking abt our ex talking stages, and i mentioned how its been a while since i was into a guy, but how some of the new girl students were so hot (trying to softlaunch I'm into girls yk). then she replied with "ong i know, i wish i was into girls, they just sm better"

I'm so sad. i swear she was into me bro i feel stupid. i keep crying and now im writing gay ass poetry to cope 😭 someone help why r all the girls im into straight. I've litterally never felt this heartbroken before I'm gonna die how the hell am i supposed to stay friends with her after this

Coming Out I came out to my parents, and it didn't go well. (Vent and some triggers, so be warned.)

A week or two weeks ago, I came out to my mom while riding home in the car. I told her I liked men and wemon and she was in a bit of disbelief and I didn't blame her. For the first few days, it wasn't that bad, my whole family went on a camping trip for my brothers birthday.

A day after we got back from the trip, I went and talked with my mom in private. Not about sexuality or something, but we were just alone and talking. She started talking about how she's going to take away social media and shit from me. I was kind of confused, but then she started talking about how I was brain washed and I needed to talk to God. She started speaking very loudly on how I liked men and some inappropriate stuff like asking if I like certain parts of the male body. That's how my dad found out, and he didn't take it well. He didn't really talk about it that day, I'll get to my dad later. So, my mom is angry on how I'm brainwashed and how it's disgusting, and that REALLY hurt me. I've been holding that in for years, and that's how they treat me..? So, that night I packed my backpack and planned to run away since I hate being looked at as different/brainwashed or disgusting. I was planning to do some bad stuff to myself aswell because it was just NOT going well for me.

My brother came down to my room when I was mad, and we got into a fight and I said a lot of shit. But, it stopped me from running away.

My parents apologized and I went to bed.

Awhile after that, which is a few days ago. I was just having a conversation with my dad about Native American history because I found it interesting, I made a mistake while talking about it and my dad butt'd in the conversation and said "that's wrong, and that's what the Internet wants you to believe, that's why you're the way you are right now." And I was very confused. He started yelling and crying at me on how I'm brainwashed and the devil is in my head telling me to be bisexual. He asked me some innapropiate stuff and I was like "I don't know, I never tried any of that!" And he started really crying and said the devil was telling him to hurt himself because I'm bisexual. And that really scared me, but I stayed silent and I was shaking. He started ranting about the wrong he's done and told me that I needed to be straight and he thought I was straight. And I just sat there, saying nothing.

After that, he walked away. And took a phone, after the phone call he asked me to help him at work. I refused, after all of that, it really fucking made me scared and abunch of other emotions. He left to work after that, and I stayed home and texted my friends about it.

My parents are blaming my friends and their parents for making me bisexual I guess? I don't know man. I just want to be myself. Nobody made that decision except MYSELF.

Coming Out Help, how do I come out to my bf...?

So I have no idea how to tell my lover that I'm bi. He's super chill and barely even gets negative. But hes always very affectionate to me, and really cares about our relationship and our future. Im worried about how he'd react and what he'd say when I tell him...

I'm bi, but I don't actually want a relationship with a girl. I only have a type for them. I dunno how to explainn😓😓

Story Got asked about pronouns!

So I came out to my mom as bi a few days ago, then she had a few questions for me today, and we talked for a few minutes and she ended up asking me if my pronouns where still he/him. And guys I didn't like it, I said yes because I am still working through gender stuff, and I didn't want to have that conversation. But I think I looked worried for like a second, and I had a part of me think "no" before anything else. So that's fun 🙃 anyway how are you fellow cis people doing today? I haven't even figured out my gender, I just think male isn't exactly correct
