I don't post my pricing online for shooting because my rate is determined based on the work you are going to have me perform. I don't have a standard hourly rate.

You don’t have a set rate, but after a big enough sample, you have an average rate or median rate. So you could at least advertise that. You also have a baseline of services that come at a minimum price. You could also advertise that.

Yeah if you know you wouldn't do a job for less than a set amount, just list that. A simple "3hr shoot- starting at $375+ contact for specific details" gives a baseline and prevents people from wasting your time

The problem is that you understand it could be more than that, but the customer would be pissed off if they paid significantly more than that

Yes a lot of people here have clearly never done work like this. “Starting at…” is an invitation for complaint about “well your website said X, why can’t I get it at that price.”
