When I was growing up, it was on strong rotation in the late-night scene, so I'd stay awake in my room, then sit a few inches from the screen, listening to the movie with the volume nearly off completely. Eventually, when I grew up and technology allowed it, I was using it to sleep at night, playing it first in a laptop, then a tablet, and finally, on my phone. Now, I only use it every few weeks or so, as my life has stabilized enough to not need it. That movie got me through some rough times.

And as a matter of fact, there hasn’t been a SINGLE time where I won’t watch this film in its entirety if it’s on basic cable, and it might be the only film my wife and I have watched together the most.

I even hum/know the opening score, it’s that bad.
