Ok but if they did it, hypothetically speaking, it would help to share their hypothetical methods with the hypothetical streets.

I'm sorry, friend. You're mistaken. They were both performing free brain surgery on orphans and donating the proceeds to the Trevor House.

Maga has demonstrated that they're in favor of holding government officials hostage so I don't see why anyone should have a problem with what this couple did (allegedly)...🙃

u/Lizbeth2016 19h ago
What this couple allegedly did; we are not certain this actually happened, words matter.
27
u/Temporary-Employ-611 18h ago
They certainly allege a lot of shit that is easily disproved from 4 different camera angles

u/MossGobbo 15h ago
What this couple actually did was drive off with the agent in their car and go to a police station because a random armed dude got in their vehicle and refused to ID himself.

u/AncientSignature1505 18h ago
Same reason they punish theft and rape, the government doesn't appreciate competition.

I remember the details of this case. It seemed hinky. I think the ice agent was trying to do something extra bad here.
When it first happened they reported he had gotten in the backseat of the car with the woman. And I can't remember which one made it to the front seat and started driving away.
This isn't kidnapping like they grabbed him off the street.
And when I lived in the bay area, the only time I ever saw a cop get in the backseat of a car with anyone was to get their dick sucked.
Just saying.

u/Jedi_Ninja 19h ago
They drove straight to the local police station. Not something kidnappers would do. Yeah this is just more ICE bulls!t.

Thank you for posting the article. Two things I want to point out:
The headline of the article puts the word “abduct” in quotes which pleases me. Because it’s BS.
The look on his face in the mugshot just yells “Ain’t this some bullshit?”Yes sir. Yes it is.

If this did happen, wouldn’t it be a version of the Castle Doctrine? Or does that only apply to white people? 🤔
4
u/wafflesthewonderhurs 8h ago
That is actually an interesting question. I need to Google how the case went if there actually was one.
2
u/RedditSe7en 8h ago
Thanks for the kind reply. In all honestly, I doubt such a defense would work. But if one MAY legitimately kill someone in or near your one’s home who, one feel, is a threat, then I see no LOGICAL reason why one couldn’t kidnap the same people to prevent them from doing one harm.
Of course, the Castle Doctrine seems abusive to me, so I am not advocating that anyone should be able to kidnap anyone else, but when so much of ICE’s behavior is already abusive, illegal, and unaccountable, it is tempting to think that those they abuse may proportionately defend themselves.

From what I remember this is Darnella Fraizer’s sister too. (The teenager that recorded George Floyd’s murder). This family has been through too much.

This is what happened: The agents were in plain clothes. The man and woman said they weren’t sure they were actually law enforcement. An agent got into their vehicle. The woman drove away with the agent still inside while the man called 911. They drove straight to a local police station, where they were arrested. Local authorities did not charge them with kidnapping, but federal prosecutors charged them with interfering with federal agents.

u/aminervia 17h ago
According to the account, the encounter quickly spiraled when Frazier got behind the wheel and drove away with one of the agents still inside the vehicle, heading toward a police station.
Bamigboye, meanwhile, reportedly took off on foot and ran into a nearby store.

They should've deported those ICE agents

u/Educational-Chip-953 3h ago
They should be treated the same way as people on the street that these ICE guys attack, beat up, throw into a van and disappear into a concentration camp.

Ok so only one of the is Nigerian. The othe ris US. They got released after stating that they didn't know they were federal agents because they had no identification on them. He feared actual kidnapping and that is why he reacted that way.

Jury nullification, maybe? 🤞🏼 The ICE thugs came to kidnap these people so IMO it should be considered self defense

I shouldn’t laugh because they got arrested, yet…

LoL‼️ that’s funny AF‼️ hopefully they did sleep deprivation, feed them rotten food and forced them to sleep in the dirt without blankets

u/GeminiVenus92 19h ago
So what was the plan here?
22
u/Indecisively 19h ago
From what I read, the ICE agent jumped in their car unidentified and they drove to the police station.

I see no crime here, they were just providing shelter for the I.C.E. employees from the dangerous area.
They had no business being in

To be charged with Kidnapping is as simple as telling someone “you can’t leave”

First of all, this is bullshit, but even if it were true, I sure as hell would love to go out, having stood up for myself, and just being marched out in handcuffs and flown to some. God knows what African country.

u/Sea_School_2949 12h ago
It's true, they thought they were being kidnapped so they took the ICE officer
Judge excused them unfortunately that doesn't mean that ICE will
1
u/Puzzleheaded-Ebb-574 8m ago
They were here on a student visa they could go back home they have family....on a positive note ICE won't mess with anymore Africans, they'll put up a fight🙌🏾 Those charges are bogus when it's over they should sue for defamation of character...They called the police which is what I would do....I will not get out of my car, roll down my window, unlock my door for masked men..they can follow me to the nearest police station while I'm on the phone with 911.

What time is the celebratory banquet for these two Nigerians? In fact, just naturalize them on an honor basis.
