Squad Lead done and family photo! gonna take a break for a little bit, I went all out on these 5… and I have another squad with power fists waiting for me.

6x squads of 10 completed, going for another 4x and pushing on to have 10x10. I have a load of default/ assault intercessors that are getting the Crusade treatment. I knew I’d put all these spare sprue pieces to use eventually lol. I have a few eBay purchases of scouts/neophytes to make the 16x needed. Lucky to have plenty of Sword Brethren already to pick and mix the squads into 10 or 20 man bricks.

The Emperor blessed me with his protection during my bike recon incident.

So if chainswords are going to S5, does this mean power swords (like for SB for example) are going to S6 or some other type of sexy update?

I wasn't even planning to add this guy to any of my lists. But I loved the model and needed a break from painting black. :D

Maybe I'll find a place for him in a list, maybe not. But at least he can live on my shelf now, tinkering with the Land Raider.

The base isn't finished yet. I'll do that once I've got a few models ready for a little basing production line.

The amount of cleanup this model needed was insane, though. Absolute mold-line-o-rama.

How do you guys handle “specialist” Marines like Techmarines, Apothecaries, etc.? Do you just black 'em up like the rest of the Crusade, or give them the traditional colors/some special treatment?

Finally I finished painting it and I’m happy of the result even if the writings on the banner are thick because my brush is old. What do you think about it and how can I emprove it? I know i need to do the fake highlight I’ll do it later. All suggestion are very well accepted.

Hello hello! Chaos/Xenos player here looking for my Imperium army. Sell me on Black Templars, tell me how they play, why it works so well, things I should be using and things I cannot skip our on and why! The more detail the better

As I have posted before I can’t paint normal SM bodies as Black Templars, they are just not righteous enough. But I also don’t think they need to be doomed to a life of being a blueberry. So I gave them some honor.

So apparently 5 of us did very well last week putting us as the biggest winrate army.

Keep in mind we have basically the lowest playmate, so this is essentially an anomaly as to the state of our faction.

But this won't stop GW from nerfing the %@#* out of us again. Aparrantly that 5 point reduction was too much.
