I really like those decorative forged sections. It doesnt serve much functionally, but its so nice to see and it can show real proficiancy.

Its not over the top, its just enough to make this axe pop.

The Lincoln Handy core welder is phenomenal for the price and runs on 110v, it's what I use. You just gotta really pre heat the metal before welding to get any penetration
