I have the 2.1 Minirig setup (2 speakers, 1 subwoofer). Im wondering how I configure the app EQ settings. Do you have to adjust down the “Minirig” bass or lower frequency bands if you have the subwoofer (because you want subwoofer to take low sounds)? Or does it automatically balance out low sounds to subwoofer if it’s connected?

Im currently on Bluetooth but will eventually link them via Aux to my FLX-4 controller to DJ with at home and small private events. (Mostly house music)

Other questions:
- how do you guys configure your EQ settings in Minirig app with 2.1 setup?
- how do you ensure it’s 100% charged? It turns off for me and app says closer to 80%.
- how do you fix problem where speakers aren’t showing up in Minirig app, but they are all connected and playing music?
- app shows only minirig / subwoofer. Does one minirig tab control both minirig speakers? Confused because I thought you could control sound of individual speakers through app but don’t know how

En el país donde estoy (Argentina), hay un Flip 7 publicado en MercadoLibre por como 150k—o sea, equivalente a unos 100 dólares.

No se puede confiar mucho en las reseñas de los vendedores ya, porque parece que las agrupan entre varios países en vez de mostrar solo las reseñas de ese vendedor en particular, así que es imposible saber si hay alguna negativa.

Mis preguntas son: ¿Cómo puedo detectar rápido uno falso? Sé que debería tener buen sonido y materiales de buena calidad, pero ¿qué más tendría que mirar? ¿Hay un código de barras o un código de ID que pueda ingresar en un sitio web de JBL? ¿Una bocina réplica puede conectarse a la app y recibir actualizaciones? Me preocupa que se conecte a la app pero que igual tenga un sonido “fake” o chillón, como de cartón.

¿Qué consejo me darías? Voy a dejar el link de la publicación acá por si alguien de Argentina puede echarle un vistazo y darme más info. Gracias.

JBL FLIP 7

I happen to own a Toyota equipped with a JBL sound system. My other car costs half as much as the Toyota, and the JBL system in the Toyota is only 2/5 in quality compared to other cars. I understand that automakers save on cheaper sound systems, but that logic applies to most manufacturers. If JBL is putting its label on something, I expect it to have a good sound system.

My reason for not buying JBL products forever is that I have had negative experiences with their sound systems in my car. What are your reasons for not buying JBL products?

Hi guys, am looking to buy a good Bluetooth speaker for an average sized bedroom. My main usage will be for music (mostly techno/ hip hop with a mix of Bollywood here and there). Bass is obviously a need but shouldn’t distort vocals or volume.

Am confused between the Xiaomi Sound Outdoor 30W and the Boat Stone 1200 Pro 60W. Any other recommendations are welcome. Budget is not extendable unfortunately🥲.

Best deal I’ve seen on this phenomenal little speaker. Bought mine in club; $20 less than Amazon price.

It’s very well built, heavier than expected, and the 15W amp outpowers other small speakers. Very nice low volume performance; rich sound and impressive bass for the size.

Only downside is no PartyCast.

I am thinking of buying this edifier d12 but my suggestion is to buy a marshall emberton iii or a home theatre, but once I buy these i can add a subwoofer and increase the base if I need that but, i don't know how these sound.

I got the Soundcore glow and I think it has good quality sound for the price, but now I got a JBL tune XL but I'm not gonna use the radio function that much I think. Would it be worth the money to return it and get a charge 5 in stead of the tune. Or is the charge 5 not that much better than the Soundcore glow

Honestly, I just want a personal spear for my room, but Xiaomi has too many options. I found Xiaomi Bluetooth Mini, looked great but lacks reviews online.

We just redid our little back patio and I've been bringing my old Anker Soundcore Mini out there and it just sounds super tiny and dies after like 3 hours tbh, not great for BBQs

I want something that actually sounds good outdoors, decent bass but not muddy, loud enough for like 8-10 people hanging out but still portable enough to bring to the beach or camping. Waterproof is pretty important since were by the pool a lot and I've had a speaker die from splash before. Battery life that actually lasts a full day would be huge. I've been looking at JBL Flip / Charge, Sony Ult Field, Bose SoundLink etc but there's way too many and every review says something different.

Trying to keep it around $200, maybe a bit more if it's actually worth it for something that will last, let me know what you guys recommend?

I run a wine store that's about 30-40 square meters, split into two rooms by a wall with an open doorway connecting them. I want to set up a simple 2-speaker sound system for ambient background music nothing crazy, just good quality sound that makes the space feel nice for customers.

A few requirements:

• Budget: around €200-300 total for both speakers
• Looks: they need to look good / fit into a retail space
• Mounting: open to wall mounted or freestanding, but I'd prefer not to mount them if possible
• Power: battery powered or wired both work
• Connectivity: I have WiFi in the store, so wireless/streaming options are on the table too

Since the space is split into two rooms with just a doorway between them, I'm not sure if I should be thinking about placement to cover both rooms with 2 speakers, or if I need to reconsider the setup entirely.

Marshall has 360 sound and great battery but only basic codecs

Edifier has all the codecs and even WiFi playback,

Any long term owner that can help me about pros and cons of both or any other recommendations or price bracket (200 USD to 370 USD, 20000INR to 35000 INR )

TLDR: Does anyone know of a portable speaker that can charge off 12v DC (cigarette lighter) and produces say 400w of quality and bassy sound (The louder the better, I want to be that obnoxious civic guy) that either has a remote or can be turned on via an app?

Bit of a unique case here but I have a gutted out 90s Honda civic that I’ve built from a rolling shell and I’m now looking at pimping it out with a sound system.

I’m expecting to spend up to or more than $1k for a good speaker, I just want something loud and easily removable and usable for parties. Really I’m sort of looking for a speaker that can do anything I ever want it to. I have looked online but I’m struggling to find something ticks all the boxes. Either it can’t charge off DC or it doesn’t have a remote way to turn on or it isn’t very loud. Yes I am aware I can do a traditional sub and amp but I’d prefer something portable.

My Tribit StormBox Mini has developed serious sound distortion and is basically unusable.

I contacted Tribit support, but they told me the warranty expired on April 1, 2026 and that they don't offer any repair service for out-of-warranty products.

I even told them that I'm willing to pay for the repair, but they still said they cannot help.

I understand that the warranty has expired, but why is there no option to get the product repaired by Tribit or an authorized service center by paying for it?

I don't want a free replacement. I just want to repair the speaker and continue using it.

Has anyone in India faced the same issue with Tribit? Is there any way to get a Tribit speaker repaired?

Is it a good buy for this money ? Personally i found its sound pleasing to ears and a lot balanced . I was confused what to buy with my budget of 25000-30000 inr / 250-300$ . Was researching for weeks and comparing every speaker's specs and size with tufton as my friend has it and i personnaly liked its output . I’m extremely picky when it comes to electronics. Switching from JBL Flip 5, I want to purchase Flip 7, but I was also considering buying the Charge 5 instead. Nevermind.

The thing is, I can’t decide which “color” should I choose. I know it’s only one sticker (the rest of the design is literally the same), but like I said, I’m always overthinking it. Quote dissapointed, though, that the JBL logo (on the second pic) is not completely gold - this would make the Jbl even more “premium” (limited).

Which of these options would you choose yourself? Which speaker do you have? 💥📻
