Clarification on RULE 1
The recent uptick in non-borderporn has led me to make a post describing what we feel will help you determine if your post qualifies for r/borderporn.
All posts need to clearly have something to do with Geopolitical or Geological Borders.
Geopolitical borders are political boundaries. They separate countries, states, provinces, counties, cities, and towns. A border outlines the area that a particular governing body controls. The government of a region can only create and enforce laws within its borders.
Geological borders are natural or man-made physical borders in the earth like rivers or mountain ranges. For example, the boundary between France and Spain follows the crest of the Pyrenees mountains. For part of its length, the boundary between the United States and Mexico follows a river called the Rio Grande.

Hyroglyphic translation question
So I live in Eastern MA. And there are certain territories that are marked with symbols. I've tried to Google it and I never find anything about them.
The symbols are vertically drawn and go as follows:
3 horizontal lines
Under that is-
An upside triangle
Under that is-
A circle with a dot in the middle

Question about EU internal border controls
Hello everyone. The last time I came to Europe in 2024 the French border officer forgot to stamp my passport while exiting. I entered again last week and I'm planning on going to Italy with flixbus from france.
So right now since the ees system is in place my passport wasn't stamped and the previous entry stamp from 2024 is there without a corresponding exit stamp. If I get checked during a random control on the Italian border would the police make a big deal out of it? I'm scared of being detained until they verify I didn't overstay. I don't need a visa for a short 90 day stay in europe. I came to austria and germany before and they didn't forget the stamp so I also have those stamps.
Can the police access ees data on the bus so they see I'm here legitimately or will they just ignore the stamp? Thanks.

Chuy/Chuà – divided towns on the Brazil/Uruguay border. Iconic for bordergeeks
Chuy (UY) is a city in the Rocha Department, located 340 kilometres northeast of Montevideo. Chuà (BR) is a municipality in the state of Rio Grande do Sul and is known as the southernmost town in Brazil. The primary border is an avenue known as Avenida Brasil on the Uruguayan side and Avenida Uruguai on the Brazilian side and one can cross between the 2 countries without restriction.Â

A preserved sector of the Berlin Wall
Originally dividing the French and the Soviet-administered parts of the city, it still partially stands along Bernauer Straße. The original buildings on the southern part of the street marked the border until 1963, when they were demolished and replaced with the wall proper. Ten people have been known to have died in this area trying to escape, including Ida Siekmann, which passed away from her injuries after jumping from her apartment‘s window a few days after East Berlin was closed off (the street belonged already to the West).
