Sunset Cab Driver Incident

On Friday night my wife and I caught a Sunset Cab at Georgie's around 10:30. Right off the bat, the driver wanted me to put my home GPS co-ordinates into his personal phone. He spoke very poor to no English. I mentioned how I didn't feel comfortable doing that, but he relented gesturing to his phone which was sitting in the console. Glancing at it, I realized that it was cycling through images and video of 8-10 year old girls in sexualized positions. Instantly looked away and called him out on it. I told him that was pedopholia and that we didn't do that in Canada. I told him to pull over instantly and let me wide and Input. He kept saying no, no, no ... I'm sorry. My wife told him she had 911 dialed and would call if he didn't stop the cab. He eventually did and let us out. I told him that shit like that would get him deported or worse. We got his vehicle license plate and reported him to the police. It left me feeling absolutely sick to my stomach.

Reading through, I was worried that it was going to stop at just threatening to call the police when you warned that that kind of stuff would get him deported. I'm glad you went through and reported him. Chances are, those images weren't the worst that he has. Zero tolerance for CSAM, or even anything close to it.

What I saw was borderline, my definite instinct was to look away. The police wanted me to describe in detail what I saw and I told them my brain froze and I can only say that it was highly objectionable. They told me they were putting the exploited children task force on it.

Fucking gross. So many of the cab companies in that town hire the grossest scumbags they can find

This sounds made up, and if has been for the purposes of xenophobic propaganda, then it makes me sick to MY stomach.

Trust me, it's not made up. And I'm far from xenophobic.

“We don’t do that in Canada” what an idiotic comment we don’t do that anywhere…

Dude was from an African country and he barely spoke English. Unfortunately, there are parts of the world were it is much more common. Your comment is idiotic.
