This position is ideal for someone who has previous experience working with **commercial/industrial embroidery machines** and understands how to produce clean, consistent embroidery on a variety of garments and products.
Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and monitor industrial embroidery machines
Load embroidery designs and prepare machines for production
Hoop garments and products accurately for proper design placement
Select and change thread colors, needles, bobbins, and other machine components as needed
Adjust thread tension and machine settings to maintain embroidery quality
Run embroidery jobs on shirts, jackets, hats, bags, and other apparel/products
Inspect finished embroidery for quality, placement, thread issues, and defects
Troubleshoot common embroidery and machine issues, including thread breaks, tension problems, registration, and needle breaks
Trim, clean, and finish embroidered products
Follow work orders and production instructions to ensure the correct design, garment, color, placement, and quantity
Maintain a clean and organized production area
Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of embroidery equipment
Work efficiently to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications
Previous professional/commercial embroidery experience required
Experience operating **industrial multi-needle embroidery machines**
Strong understanding of hooping, garment placement, thread tension, stabilizers/backing, needles, and embroidery production
Ability to recognize and troubleshoot embroidery quality problems
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Ability to read and follow production work orders
Comfortable working independently as well as part of a production team
Dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple jobs and deadlines
Ability to stand for extended periods and handle boxes, garments, and production materials as needed
Preferred Experience
Experience with multi-head commercial embroidery machines
Experience embroidering hats/caps, jackets, polos, sweatshirts, and other challenging garments
Knowledge of embroidery design files and basic embroidery software
Experience in a screen printing, embroidery, promotional products, or apparel decoration shop
**This is an experienced position. Candidates should already be comfortable setting up and operating commercial embroidery equipment with minimal training.*\*
Hourly Pay is based off experience.
