My wedding dress has these flowers along the neck and at the bottom of the dress. I was told to have white flowers to not overwhelm but I love colors and I love flowers…… my favorite color is blue but there’s not a spec of blue on the dress. Should I have my florals/colors match my dress (pink, green, mauve or purple, yellow)? Is there a way to incorporate blue? I’ve been stuck on this for weeks now 😭

If it helps, our venue is in a natural Tuscany like vine filled courtyard in spring with an indoor reception (think nature - dark brown wood and greenery)

Im planning to have my wedding on Halloween, I have always been obsessed with Halloween and have always wanted my special day to be then. Plus it gives me an excuse to wear a black dress. Would it be tacky to do a sort of trick or treat while everyone is getting ready? The kids participating in or just coming to the wedding come trick or treat from me, the bridesmaids, the groom, and groomsmen??? My son will probably only be 3 or 4 when we have our wedding and I wanted to do something fun for him. Plus it keeps the kids from getting bored while we all get ready.

Update I’ve spoken to family, even the ones with kids have no problem with me having my wedding on Halloween just asked adequate notice!

Hi everyone! I’m totally stuck trying to figure out my wedding hair and would love some outside perspective.
To give you an idea, I have a long face, and my dress is a strapless mermaid style with a sweetheart neckline (attached photo). In daily life, I always wear my hair down, so I'm really not used to having it tied back and I'm worried about looking too harsh or mature.
A few things I'm trying to balance:
Hair texture: My hair drops curls and goes flat really fast. I've thought about trying extensions for extra hold and volume, but I've never used them before.
Scalp comfort: My scalp is super sensitive, so tight or heavy styles tend to give me a headache pretty quickly.
Given my face shape, the dress style, and wanting to keep things comfortable without my hair falling flat, what kind of styles do you think would actually suit me? Open to any and all suggestions!

I got it for a great price and it’s the only one I’ve ever tried on and I fell in love instantly. Should I keep looking? Also didn’t fully put it on here just try on

EDIT: I do not have shapewear on underneath, I believe the bunching/folds are just from the dress being folded for months before I finally tried it on.

I’m sorry the internet has altered your perception of what fat is, as I am most definitely a very skinny person. The only reason I have a tummy is because I carried a child, but thank you for the pov. For those suggesting shapewear, can you please recommend some brands I could try out?! Again , thanks so much for the advice and support. I think I will be going with this dress and try things without any altering. Also I found this dress at goodwill for $15! Honestly the least expensive thing in my >$7k wedding!

I am someone who has debilitating generalized anxiety disorder and adhd and we are a month and a half out from our wedding. There’s so much to do, ao much to save up for as far as honeymoon goes etc but I’m feeling so overwhelmed and I’m trying to quit vaping so I have called off at least once a month the last couple months and I feel so awful. I’m a prn (as needed) employee and make my schedule ahead of time and I pick up hefty hours and it’s healthcare so I’m just drained from everyrhing but I feel so terrible because I don’t want my boss to think I’m lazy, I need to get stuff for wedding pulled together which wedding month I’m only picking up last minute shifts and not scheduling them out and I don’t know I just feel like the world is spinning so I’m needing more mental health days. Anyone else struggle with this??

I planned my whole wedding alone basically my fiance helps here and there but you know how men’s are is always whatever you like or whatever makes you happy LOL, I don’t have any friends and my mom hasn’t been supportive either just makes me feel bad I wish I had a cousin or friend helping me and my maid of honor which is my cousin doesn’t show interest at all honestly which is very disappointed honestly but can’t change her at this point it looks bad :/
