Hey, I'm looking to make some new mates of any gender I do not mind. I work full-time and go to uni part-time so I'm usually busy throughout the work week, and I travel a lot for holidays. But outside of that, I'm usually free in the evenings and weekends, but I do like being home early rather than late.

I am getting back into listening to alt rock again, and would love if you have similar interest in 90s-00s aussie bands e.g. Grinspoon, Jebediah, Regurgitator, GYROSCOPE, Powderfinger, Silverchair (or are a Triple J hottest 100 fiend from that era). I'm looking to expand my library, and my coworkers who are in their 40s are some of my best mates for this. I'm a casual music listener, so I'm not looking for any arguments about music LMAO. I am also interested in going to see aussie bands play at small to medium sized gigs, if that interests you.

Otherwise my other interests are: travelling overseas, hockey, video games (turn based strategy games like SMT/Fire Emblem), going to the orchestra and ballet, 00s tech and casual photography with my shitty sony cameras.

Because of my frequent travelling, I am always broke, but I enjoy going to the city and getting dinners/food/coffee and shopping.

I do not have any social media so I mainly communicate through texts and posted letters (I wish I was lying). So I am happy with communicating via text, and seeing each other in person like once a week or month lol.

I have a network of international friends from people who came here on a VISA, so I do not care if you are a citizen or here for 6 months. Also do not be afraid if you are older than me, as I have friends in their late 30s-40s. Consider me as a "lil bro".

Hi folks, I've posted the occasional comment in the 'wheelie fun' Discord channel but seemingly had no luck.

I wonder if there are many motorbike riders in the Brisbane Social community?

I usually lone wolf it up Nebo/Glorious early on Saturday and Sunday mornings, riding pretty spiritedly. Usually I'll grab a coffee and a wrap at the cafe, head over the back to the T, then turn around and do it all again. I tend to stick to the mountains, as I find riding all the way to the Sunny Coast/Goldie a bit boring.

I ride a Triumph Trident I've named Betty. I have a Cardo for comms but have only ever used it for music at this stage. I don't even know how to connect to someone else's comms 😂

Professional 38yo single guy finding myself with ever-decreasing social circle as people partner off and move away. The worst, right? Making new friends seems even harder than dating, and with what feels like a pendulum swinging away from dating apps, both feel harder than ever!

My hobbies are pretty low-key. I've been really enjoying getting outside to look for and identify our wonderful bird species around the area. This also gives me something to practice my photography on, which is coming along very slowly! So if you have interest in either of these and can teach me a thing or two, that would be awesome.

I love a board game session and meet semi-regularly to play with a couple of different groups. I keep a modest collection myself and always looking to teach or learn something new. I also like to read and share my recommendations for books, movies, shows etc. Nothing better than sharing a passion - I guess that's why I'm here.

I'm a peaceful person and enjoy the calm and quiet in general. Night life vibes are generally not for me, though there are exceptions. One thing I'd like to do more of is get out to see more comedy/performances. I really need to make it to one of these Christopher Nolan orchestra nights!
