Genuinely tempted to book a whole second delivery and load up the £40 minimum spend with absolute garbage food before I lose it completely

If you're disabled and get a bus pass there's no reason to restrict it at all. I understand for elderly folk it's to keep buses free for regular commuters but the change is good considering disabled people are inherently t@xed for ***everything.***

Want to get somewhere that isn't immediately accessible via your wheelchair/scooter/walker? That's either a bus (haha, I've seen a few mums whinging about folding their prams to let wheelchair users on) or a taxi if you don't have a car.

Want shopping in? Deliveries cost extra and you might not get the best quality as staff chuck random crap in, even stuff that's expiring that day or already going mouldy.

Wheelchairs and other equipment the LA won't supply you? Couple hundred at a minimum, otherwise you get shoddy gear that won't be consistently maintained.

All this while having to keep up with regular bills and expenses.

And if you have a partner who works and makes over a certain income, you can't claim the U C element meaning said disabled person has well short of £900 a month to covee their costs. Which isn't fair since our current world requires both partners to have income, so you're putting the disabled person at a financial disadvantage to potentially abusive partners, and putting an unfair load on the working partner.

Source: I am a working partner for a disabled person, have deliberately restricted my career so I can work from home and double as her carer. It annoys me that she gets so little despite having been wheelchair bound her whole life due to negligence from a professional as a baby. And having to overhear know nothing know it alls griping about the cost on the txpayer.

I thought I zipped it up but the receipt does indeed confirm I bought 4 and now have 3..

Anxiously watching multiple weather sites right now to see what the chances of having to pitch up my tent in the rain are going to be. If you want to grab a Subway, Greggs etc. after filling your car then pull into one of the parking spots in front of the shop, don't leave it at the pump.

I don't know if i'm just incredibly unlucky but it seems like almost every time I have to go I end up behind the car belonging to the person that's done this.

It's even worse when it's peak busy times like weekends and you're doing this.

Normally on a bout 5 cups of tea a day at home, had enough after my morning brew on holiday. Will have to bring a big 10 litre water carrier from next year, but its just more to pack. I'm gasping.

We have two dogs and we've been recently looking for a getaway in the UK to take them somewhere new, and it's beyond a hassle with how many of these places advertise as dog friendly until you read the conditions.

Most places only allow one dog so that immediately rules them out, which is fine, but then so many have rules like no dogs on the furniture and no dogs upstairs. Some even state things like they can only sleep in the kitchen or they must be on a lead in the garden. So basically you're only happy if the dog does nothing but sleeps on the floor? And you're advertising as dog friendly?

If you don't want a dog in your holiday home then that's completely fine, but stop trying to entice dog owners when you clearly don't actually want dogs!

Small Heath during peak time. Worst, angriest driving I’ve ever seen.

This has happened to me multiple times now to the point that I’m genuinely curious what is going on. I use the air machine at my local shell and as I drive off, another car typically hurls in at 100mph to an emergency stop and a person sprints out to use the last few minutes of the pump for free. It costs a full £2.

Yesterday I paid for the pump and when I finished I sat in the car with the windows down for a split second only to be told to hurry up and leave by a lady in her car opposite me. She was very Karen about it huffing and puffing to use the air. I told her I was re-setting the pressures on my screen(bullshit) and then got back out to “check” the pressure one last time. Once the machine stopped I got in to reverse and drive off but she drove off in front of me! She literally only wanted to use it if it was free. To save a grand total of £2.

Why did it make me feel so wonderful that she didn’t get to use the machine for free I will never know.

Edit: this was entertaining but going to bed now - curious how many people will crack the “that’s inflation for you” joke by the morning.

They could just agree amongst themselves that none of them will advertise. They'll save millions, and I'll only have to sit through 4 days of pre-film ads.
