Interior Building Tips

Can anyone give me tips on building interiors? I recently learned how to build buildings, but I never know how to build interiors. The first building is my house, the second is a villager inn, and the last will be a library for villager trading. I would also love advice on my build in general (Sorry if the screenshots aren't that good)

First try to split it up a little then fix any weird shapes that result from the shape of the building. Next find a good detailing block (here is say spruce)

Adding interior partition walls, rugs, paintings, and potted plants helps fill up large open spaces without cluttering
