Move over grandma, people are trying to get somwhere

45

u/Hulph Jul 28 '26

It's a walking zone. Grandma is moving over dead bodies

46

u/rangy77 Jul 28 '26

...
Are you fucking the speed limit?

24

u/DybbukFiend Jul 28 '26

If the speed limit is were my wife? Probably.

17

u/Giganticaxe3552 Jul 29 '26

I also choose this guys speedlimit

3

u/XaraPandaPop Jul 29 '26

This was my thought process too, easiest £25k ever made.

2

u/Professionalbuffoon Jul 29 '26

The question is:
do you have to break a LAW? Meaning, to commit a full-on crime. Or do city, state, etc. ordinances and such count?

2

u/confused-lemur 29d ago

I was thinking this same thing... Just in freedom units! Lol

2.5k

u/Hidden_Misc Jul 28 '26

im gonna commit so much jaywalking

Chose: Get 25k everytime you break a law

849

u/Miss-you-SJ Jul 28 '26

First thing I thought of too. Also where I’m at going over the speed limit is illegal but if I hover 1km/h over every couple seconds that’s an extra 25k each time so. . .

209

u/bigbean258 Jul 28 '26

YOU CRIMINAL!

153

u/Eddie_Shepherd Jul 28 '26

This is what immediately came to my mind. I live in a neighbor with about 5 speed bumps. $125K every day before I even hit a major road! Yes please.

54

u/btdawson Jul 28 '26

Yep, seems like the easy choice. I work from home and only really leave to go to the gym and the grocery store. Speed limit is 35 and I’m usually doing 40ish anyway so that’s just free money on the way lol

3

u/Numerous_Living_3452 Jul 28 '26

Haha way easier that jay walking but that would motivate me to get my steps in xD

57

u/ShimanoRN Jul 28 '26

I probably would’ve earned half a million commuting to work in NYC this morning

21

u/Scanamana Jul 28 '26

Looks like bittorrent is back on the menu boys

2

u/Yang_Seo-Jun Jul 29 '26

Actually BitTorrent is a crypto miner iirc Better to use BTdownload or smth like that ytorrent is the same btw

23

u/feartheswans Jul 28 '26

Me I am going to just drive over the speed limit. 26 in a 25 is still breaking the law.

Just fluctuate speed between legal and illegal and infinite money farm

18

u/DarkSideOfGrogu Jul 28 '26

Just need to kill 40 people and you break even.

15

u/okaybutnothing Jul 28 '26

Speeding, jaywalking, all the laws most of us break on the regular are now worth 25k? Yeah!

16

u/Dusty_Bunny81 🥕🥕🥕🥕🥕🥕 Jul 28 '26

That’s what I said

5

u/Renway_NCC-74656 Jul 28 '26

4

2

u/GuyYouMetOnline Jul 28 '26 edited Jul 29 '26

That may not work. At least where I live it's not actually illegal. You might need to find something else (lile going just over the speed limit).

2

u/Hidden_Misc Jul 29 '26

Jaywalking is illegal in my country I looked it up dw :)

2

u/GuyYouMetOnline Jul 29 '26

Hence why I specified where I live

2

u/Hidden_Misc Jul 29 '26

guess you gotta stick to going one over the speed limit only. Oh noooooo. Slightly less money from the bank you'd be making the shame....

2

u/lordnimnim Jul 28 '26

thats how you get run over by a car

2

u/IWumboYou Jul 28 '26

It'll be so much easier at night. Just walk back and forth on an empty road.

2

u/jaxkingsman Jul 28 '26

Jaywalking, drinking in public, throwing trash in public in certain places this is very good

2

u/jaxkingsman Jul 28 '26

Ooh and parking ticket

2

u/Dead_Chan67 Jul 28 '26

Would be Elon Musk rich if I was paid for that by now

2

u/Glittering-Tell-2632 Jul 28 '26

That’s what I thought to and typed, because it’s a crime, but no one cares about it lol

Plenty of laws you can break repeatedly without harming anyone or getting caught/arrested.

Chose: Get 25k everytime you break a law

264

u/playaslaya1991 Jul 28 '26

Plus even it you get caught its just a petty ticket and a fine that won't be anywhere near 25k

139

u/DiggityDog6 Jul 28 '26

Wrong actually they just changed the law and jaywalking now nets you 25 to life

105

1mph over the speed limit then

16

u/GameWizardPlayz Jul 28 '26

I believe in my home state you're breaking the law if you have a ice cream cone in your back pocket

6

u/OrganizationTall1864 Jul 28 '26

me too! there are soooooo many fun nonsense laws here

2

u/itsmepastamasta Jul 29 '26

iirc the ice cream law was because back when horses were a big thing, horse thieves would do that to lure them away discreetly

2

u/OrganizationTall1864 Jul 29 '26

the fun part is that it’s only applicable on sundays. you can steal horses any other day of the week.

9

u/klimmesil Jul 28 '26

Wearing pants as a woman in France was illegal until 2013, there had to be at least 100 laws I am breaking right now just by existing

3

u/IsabellaGalavant Jul 29 '26

You're probably breaking some law you don't even know about right now, somehow.

388

u/The_Real_Slim_Lemon Jul 28 '26

You better believe I’m finding obscure laws that are never enforced and breaking them en masse

Chose: Get 25k everytime you break a law

Fun fact its illegal to slap a man on the back in Georgia so get a friend and visit Georgia

107

u/Sassaphras Jul 28 '26

I realize you are saying "bring a friend with you to Georgia" but I initially read this as "step 1... make a friend" and I thought that was unnecessarily rude

62

Hey for the low low price of 5k a slap ill be your friend

22

I’d make millions every time I drive to see anyone. Any decent length journey you just break the speed limit by 1-3mph over and over again. Most speed cameras don’t even trigger for that small a law break.

Chose: Get 25k everytime you break a law

8

u/mimikyufish Jul 28 '26

i thought you can go up to 5mph above the speed limit legally

12

u/EvolvingEachDay Jul 28 '26

As far as I’m aware, anything over the speed limit is technically breaking the law. Most places just won’t even bother to fine you for less than 5mph over.

Also, cars are set to read 6-10% higher than reality. So when your car shows 70mph you’re probably going more like 65mph.

8

u/Safe_Analysis4838 Jul 28 '26 edited Jul 28 '26

It’s actually not a crime to speed! It’s only a “civil traffic infraction”! You’d only get arrested/be in crime territory if you’re deemed to be driving reckless, drunk, etc.

-criminal justice student
Edit: This is regarding the US.

31

u/Maleficent_Curve_599 Jul 28 '26

The prompt isn't "commit a crime", it's "break a law".

4

u/friedbaguette Jul 28 '26

depends on your country, here in Belgium is actually a crime, since we categorize all illegal acts offenses and split them into 3 diffrent tiers and depending on the speed, it gets sorted into it's crime house

4

u/Ploppeldiplopp Jul 28 '26

Similar in germany. It is technically against the law to go above the speed limit, but below a certain threshold the cameras substract a tolerance/measurment uncertainty, so they wouldn't even fine you at all for going like one or two km/h too fast.

Of course if you go 100 in a 30km/h zone while drunk... let's just say, a childhood aquaintance had his drivers licence taken away after he rode a bike home drunk and started an argument with the police officer. He never got it back since he'd have to go through a psych eval that is apparantly only passable if you go to a psychologist first to learn what to say during that evaluation.

My name is Yoshikage Kira. I'm 33 years old. My house is in the northeast section of Morioh, where all the villas are, and I am not married. I work as an employee for the Kame Yu department stores, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don't smoke, but I occasionally drink. I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone.
