Just got it for lunch today. Been waiting on this like an idiot for a couple weeks now.

New nuggets aren't bad, still taste like rabbit nipples but they're better than the old recipe.

Sauce is good, like a plussed up teriyaki.

The drink is sweet as fuck and refreshing as hell.

None of which is important because I got a Goku toy and a DBS Crown.

Guy in the driveway says wait a week between purchases to increase chances at getting them all.

Anybody else grab this for lunch today?

Well, what else is there to say. The crunch, pillowyness and juiciness taste is just like the recent crown formulation. The only difference with these is that there’s a notable garlicky taste and aftertaste- almost enough to be possibly polarizing. They smell the same as the previous nuggets and have the same frozen-aisle aftertaste as dino nuggets or another budget store-bought nugget, but the marinade tastes like a hint of garlic parm boneless wings (ie: nuggets/bites).

I dunno- I’m sure these will get praised left and right. Maybe the garlic flavor will be enough to silence critics and make them not as bad when not fresh, but they’re still not good enough to me to warrant rushing out on any given day in a frenzied craving. The fries continue to be bland (we’ll see if any changes for those are coming down the pike for the U.S.) I didn’t expect much from this revamp although I was hopeful. But to me it tastes like they took their most current nugget recipe and just added some garlic powder and injected meat juice. Not sure what makes them more “cushiony” except for maybe being thicker or they’re adding something to the chicken mixture to make more air bubbles during frying…But I’m underwhelmed. They’ll probably be some kid’s favorite and lasting memory into adulthood when BK inevitably changes their food again in 20-something years…but anyone who grew up on BK in the 90’s and 2000’s will be left wanting by these. And if you’re just in the mood for a middle-of-the-road fast food nugget when you’re not in the mood to cook dinner, then I guess these will be for you.

I tried the new nuggets, and I think these beat Mcdonalds by a mile. They are crispy, and have a sleight crunch on the outside, you taste the white chicken deeply. Mcdonalds are just more wet and slimy and moist.

What I would change, is they do need to put pepper in the batter of the nugget. I brought it to work, and everyone tried it with and without pepper, and it just gave it the extra kick it needed to be a complete nugget. Unanimously everyone thought it was better with pepper. The hype that I’ve been giving burger king made me look crazy, until these nuggets came through, and I was no longer seen as crazy.

Bbq and zest were the sauces that stuck out. Sweet and sour sauce was garbage, and was the most left over in the packets at work. Dragon ball z sauce was a teriyaki flavor and was ok. My bk forgot to put savory or were out so I didnt get a chance to taste that. Two coworkers said they would buy these immediately after work and bring them to their family. And yes they did think it better than Mcdonalds due to crunch and sauces and chicken flavor. No one cared if it was similar to Wendy’s as long as they were good. Now even if you feel Mcdonalds is better, these are now competitive in the market place.

As a very very nostalgic person, I would say we need to stop downvoting/ complaining about these just because they arent The 90’s version. That was the golden age for everyone and we need to appreciate and live in the present. The fact that they even did change recipes when they never had to, is what we should look at, and if its better or worse then the old formulation. Yes they need to look at costs to mass produce, but for doing that these are delicious! BK recently came out and said that cost of beef is going up and they are tired of passing the price to the consumer and wont let it happen.

Now if we can get their fries to stop tasting like cardboard, theyll be onto something, or as all my coworkers like to say, tasting like chalk.

My local BK had regular and ss blue Goku and let me purchase the second toy for additional $2 on top of my King Jr. meal purchase.

I usually hate the popping pearls but this is such a good flavor combo

All my local Burger King’s are just showing the dragonball burst lemonade and not the meal with the toy/collectible? Is there something I’m missing?

Was feeling cheese tonight. Usually I don't get cheese at BK, since the flame broiler brings enough taste. Peep the wrapper. No box for your boy. Maybe they're out, maybe she just wasn't feeling it. Still, somehow that bun still looks pristine.

It was like this for the Impossible burger aswell. We had an absolute laugh, my boss yelled at me tho for making a joke about it :/

When I say heavy mayo this is what I mean every time. Hold the tomatoes. I loved BK since 93. My parents use to work there when I was a kid in the late 90s, and it has always had a special spot in my little black heart. I will never turn my back on them. We had our ups and downs, but what relationship doesn't?

I was told only in the power pack meal. So what toys are they putting the kids meals?

It was an average Burger King but all the chairs were ripped up in there.

My brother bit into this sandwich and found it was straight up raw. Diabolical doesn't even begin to describe this thing.

As said in the title, the new nuggets suck. The taste is just, weird. Only thing I like about the new nuggets is that the 10 piece is back, but Idk if I’ll be getting nuggets from now on to enjoy the quantity. I guess time will tell if other people feel the same as I do and speak with their wallet…

I’ve read that Canada has a new version of the Burger King fries. Could someone post a pic of the Canada fries and one of the US version. I hope they change the fries here in the us. Only time I enjoy the fries here in Florida is if they are not and fresh.

Learnt they still make burgers in the early morning for 3rd shift workers so I'm hype to eat!! Have not eaten BK since I was a little kid and back then I wasn't allowed to order anything over 5$ so I'm at a loss of what to get.

Any suggestions for a newbie? I like spicy foods and really my only dislike is tomato
