I need advice on how to handle this and/or have advice on what else I can do?

I’m quite lost and having a lot of pressure on me, it would be nice to have some unbiased opinions from business people here. a little side note as well, my mother keeps telling me to start to find ways to make money but then every-time I give her my ideas she turns them down and she’s getting weaker so I have no idea what to do.

Stopped at Grade 11 due to my mother needing me to start handling legal things and running our 2 households (city house and farm).
Farm where we’re at now we have 5 staff plus 2 extra people and a bunch of cats & dogs.

I went to Manila for 2 months of fashion school, but I don’t feel like my skills are good enough to start my own business/start selling stuff.

My idea is to franchise, Ate rica’s bacsilog is a main contender and ontop of the franchise fee I have estimated other out of pocket expenses for the first month.

(I can’t do online work like VA, too many distractions at home)

Had the opportunity to start a home-based Roast Duck Set! Goal is to offer affordable Roast Duck but the taste is still on par with Chinese Restaurants! Sana ma support niyo po!

Would you consider livestreaming?

I think a lot of us would agree that creating contents increases visibility para sa mga negosyo.

But is livestreaming something that some of you are already doing or considering?

We’re an early-stage startup based in Iloilo, Philippines, and we’re building a shared services company.

The idea is to take full ownership of business functions that owners are tired of managing and holding together themselves — things like customer support, marketing operations, and day-to-day business operations.

We already have a general idea of what we want the company to become, but our biggest challenge right now is figuring out how to actually build it properly from the ground up.

What should we prioritize first? How do we validate our service model? How should we structure our operations, pricing, client acquisition, processes, and overall direction at this stage?

We’re also considering working with a startup/business consultant or advisor who can help us avoid unnecessary mistakes and make sure we’re building on the right foundation.

I’m at a point where I really want to be more intentional about surrounding myself with people who are ambitious, building businesses, investing, or just genuinely interested in learning and growing.

I’m not really looking for the typical networking events where everyone exchanges business cards and tries to sell each other something. About a year ago, I shared a Lending Management System I built in Google Sheets for those who lend to friends, family, neighbors, or run a small lending business.

I honestly didn't expect much from the post, but over time, I still get messages from people asking if they can get a copy of the Google Sheet.

So I thought, instead of just maintaining the Sheet, why not turn it into an actual web app?

That's how LownDesk came about.

It's based on the same idea, but built as a proper web application for tracking:

• Borrowers
• Loans
• Payments
• Due dates and overdue loans
• Outstanding balances
• Payment receipts and statements
• Cash flow and lending records

The goal is still the same: make it easier to keep track of small lending operations without having to maintain complicated spreadsheets.

I'm still developing it, so I'm particularly interested in feedback from people who actually lend money. There are probably things I've overlooked that only someone doing this day-to-day would notice.

And yes, the original Google Sheet is still available for FREE.

I'm planning to start a small clothing business, mainly focused on activewear, pero gusto ko rin siyang i-extend into everyday wear. Specifically activewear terno sets, gym clothes for men and women, oversized tees, hoodies, and sweatpants. Basically yung mga usual na nakikita sa gym ngayon aside from the standard activewear.

Currently, ako rin mismo yung nagwo-work on the branding and graphic design, and I'm still deciding on the brand name.

Nag-research na rin ako ng suppliers, pero what I've found so far ay package na sila ang bahala sa clothes + printing + packaging. I'm wondering if mas sulit ba if I source these separately para mas ma-control ko yung budget, quality, and overall branding.

For those who have experience starting a clothing/activewear business/mayroong tips:

1. Saan kayo nakakahanap ng reliable clothing suppliers/manufacturers? (Kahit platform lang, please 🥹)
