I make pottery and I have a bunch of pieces where the handle cracked or the glaze run/pinholed or something else that makes them varying levels of not usable. I’m hoping someone can find a use for them!

Getting together with friends this weekend and someone suggested we have a Dolly Hour... Everyone is buying wigs from Amazon, and I just can't bring myself to either Amazon or make a purchase of a one-time-use plastic item! But also I don't want to be the only one who doesn't participate.

I will take excellent care of it--would love to pick up before Thursday (or Thursday morning) and can return after Labor Day.

Hi all! I am currently taking online courses in sewing machine maintenance and servicing and could use more practice on a variety of machines. If you have a machine, even an inexpensive, out-of-the-box machine that needs help, I would like to volunteer my services. And if you are planning to get rid of a machine, I will happily service it for the practice and then relist it here on Buy Nothing.

A few caveats:

I am new to this, so if it looks like a job beyond my current skills, I won't go past my comfort zone, which may mean that I can't do the job.

I cannot replace parts, belts, or gears.

I am not yet able to repair motors (but ask again in a few months!)
