Casting for Feature Film. Looking for active San Diego based Stand up / Improv comedians that want to expand their repertoire, willing to take bold risks. All ethnicities welcome. Both characters are ideally 25-45. No nudity, light stunt work.

PROJECT TITLE – Title is confidential for now until we secure our first 2 actors. PROJECT TYPE – Feature Film: Horror Comedy PROJECT SYNOPSIS – a scrappy journalist becomes the obsession of a dangerous stalker.

UNION STATUS – Non-union, although I am willing to work with unions. PRODUCTION DATES – Late 2026, early 2027.PRODUCTION LOCATION – San Diego TEAM MEMBER DETAILS – Ravenscroft Media. There are other production houses involved, to be discussed later. COMPENSATION/RATE – agreed upon fee + backend profit participation. Negotiable total compensation or guaranteed $20/hour for filming days. Upon selection we will start a paid social media campaign to promote the IndieGoGo crowdfunding efforts. The social media campaign shoot should be only a single day, for the sake of efficiency.

USAGE– Marketing campaign will be on various social media. The Feature Film we be Digital downloads, film screenings and DVD/ Blu-ray.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN –

Female Lead- a scrappy, intelligent journalist. Age 23-45.

Male lead: has success in his own ways, but lacks social skills. Ages 23-45.

JEMMA is a smart mouthed sometimes awkward movie buff. Think John Hughes ingenue plopped in a modern day vampire ridden Buffy verse. This is an unconventional vampire story punctuated by grit and humor.
