Studying Break between CIMA levels

Hi everyone,

Just wondering how many weeks people took off between CIMA levels?

6 weeks waiting for Case Study results then 1-2 weeks for the Kaplan course to start. OT exams I give like 2-3 weeks

After OCS i had like a month but after MCS I got a real motivational push so was straight into E3.

That being said I always had a week between exams.

So you started management level before you got your OCS result?

No, after OCS results I took a month to start management level

That’s interesting, I did the August OCS so results are in 3/4 weeks time. Not sure if I’m making a mistake starting F2 this week, as I’m not sure how the OCS went

This is why I didn’t see the point in starting early until you’ve got your results in. Plus a 6 weeks break is healthy imo, guess it’s a bit different if you are self study as you don’t need to wait for the next course to start.

I do agree with that, I’m doing online classes with BPP. Maybe I should’ve chosen to start in October. Thanks for your thoughts

I did August OCS as well, fingers crossed we both passed, as I start E2 this week as well. Hoping to sit the May MCS next year! I usually leave as many weeks between courses as Kaplan will let me though, which could be 1 or 5 weeks

Yes I’m hoping to do the May MCS too!
