Nope.  Burn the house down. 

Or just buy a few new pieces of trim.  (Match the stain and then coat w polyurethane)

What are you talking about? This is a door jamb, not a piece of trim to be easily replaced. Still easily enough repaired.

I’d make some homemade wood filler out of glue and saw dust. Pack it in the crack really good but not to the stud. Let it sit 24 hrs then throw the strike plate on with a couple 2” screws at a slight angle towards center of stud.

If this is an exterior door I’d go 3” Torx on strike plate.
