Tire Damage Repair or replace?

Truck lost traction and hit a curb. Tire stays inflated. I can drive car. I have driven car about 20 miles since the incident with no issues. Is this something that can be repaired. Thoughts on going to a shop versus having somebody come to the house? Is the crack on the inside a problem?

Thank you for the reply. I’m new to rims and everything. Is it possible to find the same rim by taking off the tire and looking inside or is would I really have to buy 4 new tires? First time something like this has happened to me sadly

Wtf is wrong with people. Don't drive on that shit there's a huge crack in it. Either put the spare on or park it. I don't really care if you fuck yourself up, but don't put other people in danger.
That could be repaired, but it looks like a cheap rim and I'm guessing it'd be cheaper to just buy a replacement. Or a whole set off Marketplace

Definitely won’t drive it like that now. I didn’t know how bad it was. I don’t know how much the rim costs since I bought it with those rims. I’ll try and get a mobile mechanic to take it off and look for some type of name on the inside. Either try to get the same rim or one of the same size

Twenty miles without losing air does not rule out sidewall or wheel damage. A curb hit can bend the wheel or hurt the tire internally. I would stop using it for normal driving and have a tire shop inspect both from the inside. A mobile tire service makes more sense than driving it over if the crack is in the wheel or sidewall.

Thanks for the lengthy reply brother! I don’t know shit about trucks or rims honestly. Is there anyway to find the same rim online if I were to look inside the wheel? I bought them with those rims on so I don’t know the name sadly

Repair? You can’t be serious…… You cannot safely repair cast aluminum once cracked. Replace the wheel ASAP. Another hit on that spot and it’s likely to completely fail

I’ve never had a problem with a rim before. Idk what’s fixable about them and not. I just wanted to know what my options were. Now I know I have to get a replacement. Didn’t think I’d get clowned on this hard lol

I didn’t know a crack to the rim would be so dangerous until now. Of course understanding what could happen now I know to get it replaced. As a college student of course at first I will research to see if there’s a cheaper option than replacing before I whip out the money. Now I know I’ll have to replace it. I’m on this sub because I don’t know shit about cars or trucks
