Artist identification help
Picked these up at an estate sale and would love to know who made them/ what they were used for. No identifying markings on the back of tiles. Hoping the box is a clue and I’ve already reached out to Sheffield Pottery.

Sheffield is a pottery supply company. They supplied clay, which was possibly the body used to make the slip to cast these.

These are commercial plaster molds for decorating clay and making tile. Nowadays you're more likely to see stuff like this made out of rubber, but it used to be you made them out of plaster. As for who made them, it could be an individual who was selling them, or it could absolutely be sheffield.

Might have been blanks from a “Paint your own pottery” shop. They definitely are made from molds, so it’s possible Sheffield was the company who supplied these.
