For me I’d love to see more variety in armour marks, especially MK 3 and MK2 as well some Corvus helmets

I’d also like to see standard CSM come with optional chaos god specific helmets again for the squad leaders like they did before, adds some nice flavour to the squad. I’d also like to see a bit of a return to some of the older styling with bigger horns and less trim on the helmets

I’d also like for the Eye of Horus to be less prominent going forward, I know technically it’s a generic chaos symbol now, but I personally would rather see chaos stars be more of the standard

As well as more ways to add flavour to your units, I want more upgrades for other legions, more mutations, more customisation. Chaos space marines have the potential to be one of the most diverse armies around

I’d like to see the older models get updated too, hopefully with plenty of customisation options

Multipart Obliterators would also be fantastic

I think the newer releases are definitely heading in this direction which I’m happy about

But what would you like to see in future releases?

I contiyne to build on the traitors. The bulky casts om using for anything on 40mm, such as chosen and havocs.

Bashes are chosen, havocs and a Maulerfiend!

Mark 6 with chaos legionary bits

I'm not the biggest fan of the master of executions model so kitbashed one from a stormcast lord.

He wields a double headed axe that weeps blood, and is covered in seals that list the names of the foes he has slain written in their own blood.

There's a little bit of his backpack that isn't finished but im not too fussed tbh.

Can someone help me see how/why people are using these in Soulforged Warpack?

I feel like they’re too slow, too easy to kill and don’t score or kill well compared to defilers and venom crawlers. Am I using them wrong?

Had the pieces for a while, cant find a defiler so I built this guy.

Dunno whether to keep the tendril or not.

Has anyone kitbash Centurions to Mutilators and/or obliterators? They're the same bases as the Heavy infinitary.

Hello hello, I’ve always wanted a kill team so I’ve decided to kitbash my self one that I like.
I know the scheme is a bit out there for them but once I started down that lighting I loved it and thought it added interest.
Obviously lots more to do like blending and getting paint on more areas but his overall look won’t change a whole lot now.

Wanted to capture the feel of a rag tag bunch of specialists chosen for a mission! Cloaks and heavy chains as their badge of honors of past achievements.

Made using cleaned up plague marine bodies as a base.

I just got back from Warhammer world and picked up Kravek Morne and a red Corsair Reeve captain.

My army is painted black legion but I love the red Corsair look and play renegade raiders detachment.

Can I have different units painted different warbands would this look silly? or am I best of repainting my black legion?

I love black legion too so I'm very torn and not sure what's allowed?

For example have some legionaries and chosen as black legion but then my obliteratora iron warriors?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated 👍🏻

I'm planning on starting a Chaos Space Marine army in 11th, but I have no idea where to start. There are so many units and detachments that it makes it hard to figure out what to buy. What would be the best way to start an army currently?

I’ve been slowly building and painting up my red corsairs army and realized for a group that is really diverse, most of my models are just CSM. I’ve been scouring Reddit for ideas on some other models to kitbash into CSM units, and this is what I’ve figured I’ll probably start with.

First one I’ve found which I absolutely love is using the ash waste nomads as cultists. I definitely think they fit the rag tag pirate feel I’m going for.

The other idea was to use Atalan Jackals from the genestealers and just do some simple swaps. I just love the look of their bikes. Although I’d be using 2 bikes per model, since they are so small in comparison to the CSM bikers.

I’d definitely love to hear any of your thoughts or suggestions on what else I could use.
