Definitely not able to update the “angsty” ones which are like MILDLY angst tbh, so really not all that bad. But also the totally innocent/wholesome ones as well. Idk if this is a new thing or if it’s a bug?? 🥲🧐

In all seriousness, what is going in with Deepsqueak? It used to be immersive and fun. The state of it as of right now is horrible. See my attached images. I used the exact same prompt and got two wildly different outcomes. This shouldn’t happen in my opinion. As a plus user, it shouldn’t be expected of me to swipe 5+ times to get a somewhat decent response that actually matches the bot’s personality and the setting. It really is frustrating. I am aware that DS2 is coming out, I needed to vent regardless.

I didn't use c.ai for about 5 months now after all the bad decisions that happened. I got to check if it was worth getting back on it but seems like that they somehow could make it worse.

Why are y'all still dealing with this disrespect? Honestly, I've never seen an app that disrespects the user as much as this one.

Idk what it is about deepsqueak, but this happens more often than not. Does the team know of the bug?

If the bots would stop calling me a menace in every response and telling me I'm a dangerous woman and a pain in the a*s, that'd be great. I've ran out of words I can mute at this point. Must it always be so cliche and predictable?

Edit: My persona had her appendix removed and wakes up after surgery. The bot is like "You're such a menace, it's so typical of you to wake up from surgery and complain". Ah yes, so typical of me. Every other Sunday I have surgeries done on me and then complain.

I got randomly locked out of my account and before that the chat error kept popping up.

It feels more intrusive for me personally to have the name and like profile of the character I'm using in the corner while there's an ad playing. I've had the app for like 3 years at least and this feels like a bit much even for my standards. I don't mind ads I really don't because I get to an extent why they're there. But I feel like the new types of ads might push a lot of people away including me.

Okay, I know the swipe limit has been complained about before, but I genuinely preferred how it worked before the whole “upgrade to c.ai+ for more” thing.

The old system at least gave you the option to get more swipes with Charms if you ran out. You could either wait for your swipes to reset, use some of your Charms for more, or just get c.ai+ if you wanted unlimited swipes.

Now when I run out, I basically just get hit with the “You hit your Swipes limit today” screen and a timer telling me how long I have to wait.

I don’t mind having some kind of limit for free users, but I really wish they’d bring back the option to use Charms for additional swipes. Sometimes I just want to keep swiping because the bot gave me a response I don’t like, and having to wait hours just to try another response is so frustrating.

The old system wasn’t perfect, but at least I had an option besides waiting or subscribing.

Does anyone else prefer the old system?
