I've been thinking about this for the last few days. Some people consider the new God of War games' combat shallow for example. What do you guys think?

We're a small indie team of 3 people working on Ghost Yantra, a 2D hand-animated Hack-n-Slash game with fluid Parkour mechanics. Set in a futuristic Indian Cyberpunk setting.

I played some Beat 'em Up CAGs in my lifetime including God Hand (on PS2), Spider-Man: Web of Shadows (on Xbox 360) and Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions (also on Xbox 360). And they were enjoyable in my experience.

And no, I don't own an Xbox console. lol Because after Xbox 360, I went for PS4. And now, I currently own PS5. Although, I may end up switching to PC for some reason.

Anyway, is there any other Beat 'em Up game that's purely a CAG (or at least it's a CAG at some point)? I would love to know if there's any. I know there's a lot of 2D Beat 'em Up games. But are there any 3D Beat 'em Up CAGs that I can enjoy?

By the way, I'm not asking for Hack & Slash CAGs like DMC, GOW, NG, Bayo, MGR:R and so on. Because I already played so many of them (or at least I think I did lol).

Cool girl doing girl things, eg: Stellar Blade, Nier Automata, Astral Chain.. I know there's a lot of hidden gems in the genre so I'd love reccomendations!

I'm very much looking for recommendations, particularly in the JRPG range.

I'm currently playing through Final Fantasy 16, which I'm loving so far. And I have my eyes on Scarlet Nexus and Tales of Arise. I also played the demo for GranBlue Fantasy Relink.

What are other solid recommendations similar to games I've mentioned?
