Gold plating?

Hello- I’m looking for someone who can cast a brass coin in gold for me as a keepsake gift. Anyone know someone?

For something like a brass coin, you'll likely want to electroplate it with a thin layer of gold and not cast. This is both cheaper and retains more detail.

I don't have leads on anyone who can do that locally but hopefully that can help you narrow your search.

The college of building arts has a metalworking program, a student there might do it for a price.

Better off shipping it off. That’s a pretty antiquated trade and I don’t know if a business has a gold electroplating tank laying around here
